When; All day November 22
Rating; Who knows, really?
Characters; Akimichi Chouji
heavierthanlife, and everyone else, ever. This is open to everyone, you know!
Summary; Chouji, being the kind spirit that he is, thinks a big feast of bbq would take everyone's mind off of the current happenings in the city. Here's hoping all goes according to plan.
Log;
Chouji sat down heavily into one of the many chairs he had just set up. He'd been up since 6 the prior morning, getting food ready, running around town making preperations for space, food, and places for everyone to sit and eat, of course. And all in all... it had turned out pretty well.
Several tables worth of food had been set up circularly around the fountain, with rows of tables and chairs branching out like sunrays from the center of the square. There was enough food for everyone in the city... but he didn't think that many would show up. Better safe than sorry though.
Leaning back a bit, he looked up at the sun coming up. Guess we just wait now... hope everyone will have fun, he thought to himself, as he closed his eyes and tried to sneak in a quick nap before the guests arrived.

Eagerly surveying the loaded tables, she snatched up a large piece of meat and began to devour it ravenously.
"Hey!" she called out to Chouji in between mouthfuls, "This is good!"

"Thank you! Have as much as you want!"

He was about to go over and investigate, but thought better of it. He wasn’t invited. And the food wasn’t raw enough to properly feed the parasite. For the stress this was causing him, he needed real rare meat. The turkeys where doing him well enough for now.
So Cal silently observed, while tapping away at his newfound laptop. Maybe someone would spot him, maybe not. He hadn’t really wanted to hide himself, he wasn’t in any danger, there didn’t seem to be any worms here. He just wanted to observe these people in their natural habitat. He wanted to see what he had gotten into.

When he stepped out the other end, he was right in front of Chouji. Cobray looked at his closed eyes and stifled a laughed. Cobray looked around for the nearest source of water, which was nearby in a cup. He reached his hand out, summoning it over to him. He raised it high above Chouji's head and paused for a moment.

Shifting in his seat a bit, Chouji drifted off back to sleep.

"Wake up!! Your guests are here!!" Cobray yelled, then turned around and walked away, acting as innocent as possible.

"Guests are here, and I haven't been awake to greet them...?"

Greed strolled casually into the area, keeping his hands in his pockets to avoid early temptation.
"Where to begin?"

"I suggest you start with dessert. Chocolate ice cream has a superior flavor," Cobray said, eyeing up Yotsuba's wagon full of ice cream.

"F-for me? Thank you, Yotsuba-chan!" Chouji smiled brightly, and mussed the girl's hair. Sitting the plate on the table next to him, he stood up. "Now where should we put all of this ice cream for everyone to enjoy?"

Chouji rubbed his chin. "That's a good idea! Well, let me take it and set it somewhere cold, ok? Go get a big plate of food for yourself Yotsuba-chan!"

The turkeys scattered in several directions, opening a path for the short and pale woman to zoom by the fountain feast on a motorized scooter. She made a sharp turn soon enough to avoid hitting the water. Mouse pushed her driving goggles up on top of her checkered hat and surveyed the scene with red eyes.
"Smells great," she giggled and hopped off the scooter. The little thing folded up neatly into a palm-sized cube which she tucked into her checkered satchel. "Time to fe~ast," Mouse said melodically before snagging a chair and table.

"Shhnks!" She said to Yotsuba again, albeit garbled.
