When; All day November 22
Rating; Who knows, really?
Characters; Akimichi Chouji[livejournal.com profile] heavierthanlife, and everyone else, ever. This is open to everyone, you know!
Summary; Chouji, being the kind spirit that he is, thinks a big feast of bbq would take everyone's mind off of the current happenings in the city. Here's hoping all goes according to plan.
Log;
Chouji sat down heavily into one of the many chairs he had just set up. He'd been up since 6 the prior morning, getting food ready, running around town making preperations for space, food, and places for everyone to sit and eat, of course. And all in all... it had turned out pretty well.

Several tables worth of food had been set up circularly around the fountain, with rows of tables and chairs branching out like sunrays from the center of the square. There was enough food for everyone in the city... but he didn't think that many would show up. Better safe than sorry though.

Leaning back a bit, he looked up at the sun coming up. Guess we just wait now... hope everyone will have fun, he thought to himself, as he closed his eyes and tried to sneak in a quick nap before the guests arrived.

After Cal had initially appeared in this mad city, he had wondered aimlessly through the turkey-covered streets. When, later in the day, he had returned to the fountain, he spotted a part-type-thing. Weird, he thought to himself, Do they usually have catering parties here?

He was about to go over and investigate, but thought better of it. He wasn’t invited. And the food wasn’t raw enough to properly feed the parasite. For the stress this was causing him, he needed real rare meat. The turkeys where doing him well enough for now.

So Cal silently observed, while tapping away at his newfound laptop. Maybe someone would spot him, maybe not. He hadn’t really wanted to hide himself, he wasn’t in any danger, there didn’t seem to be any worms here. He just wanted to observe these people in their natural habitat. He wanted to see what he had gotten into.
