When; 12/10, before the gala
Rating; PG
Characters; Luke (
soulxcrush) and Motoko (
kendogrl)
Summary; Luke and Motoko meet up at the carousel before the ball on their blind date.
Log;
Motoko was nervous, though she tried not to let it show. She had stared in the mirror for a long while, making sure everything was perfect. It had been a while since she had dressed up, and this was the first time she had been on a blind date. Knowing the city might not be safe, she slipped on one of her katana as well. She would just drop it back off when they arrived for the party.
A light snow was falling across the City. She found a bench to sit on near the carousel and brushed a spot off, sitting down carefully so she wouldn't ruin her dress. It was chilly, and she regretted not bringing a jacket, especially since she had arrived early. She fidgeted with her sword nervously, staring up into the night sky.

“It is nice to have Guy here. But I’m having fun meeting new people too,” he said honestly. It was actually quite thrilling to be meeting people on his own like this. It made him a little giddy, like a child on his first day of school maybe, only he had no real way of knowing what that felt like.
