Log, ongoing
When; January 10th/11th (Totally irrelevant, rly)
Rating; PG-13 - ?!
Characters; Nico Robin and Jyabura
Summary; The first meeting at their hidden lairâ„¢ after Jyaburaate broke Kaku's face in their tiiiny conflict about Robin
Log;
Jyabura'd gotten to their shared apartment very soon after Isane left. Right now he didn't want to be so close at the place the whole fight took place, the reek from blood the apartment next door drove him nearly insane. He'd take care of that mess sometime, though he couldn't fix the broken window. Right now, staying at another apartment away from that cat and the squarenose seemed like the best idea ever.
He spent nearly a whole day in the flat alone, mostly lying around on the couch lazily, 'busy' recovering from his injuries though Isane had nearly patched him up completely. The main thing was that his broken ribs were healed, the scratches didn't bother him without the splints anymore. Bored he stood up and looked out of the window; he told Isane to say Robin he'd wait here for her. The time alone did him good, he completely ignored all the whinings about some "war" going on, he had enough problems with their own war.

She found herself in front of their shared apartment's door quicker than she had expected; she had to repress the urge to knock. She knew that he was already inside, so instead, she simply opened the door and went inside. "Hello..." she said softly, closing the door behind her back. "You wanted to talk to me?"
no subject
"I wanted to see you, to be exact" he said while turning around and approaching her, another deep scar on his face that was still fresh, besides the one across his eye he had before. "I told you already I'd like to do that more often, right?" he smirked and gently stroked her cheek with the back of his hand.
no subject
"Did Kaku do this?"
no subject
"Um, yeah" he admitted. "There's one more in my side and I had some broken ribs, but Isane patched me up really good. You should see Kaku, though" he grinned amused.
no subject
"You shouldn't say that about a friend of yours," she said severely; her friends meant everything to her and she couldn't imagine speaking ill about them, even if her ribs had been broken. "What exactly happened?"
no subject
"He is not my friend" he said surprisingly grim, "just my... workmate." The coherence between CP9 was from different nature than in Robin's pirate crew. Entirely different.
"Well, I beat him up. Broke quite a lot of stuff and that, tables, windows, bones. The usual." He obviously wanted to avoid details of the fight, his bloodlusty nature was something he never wanted Robin to see.
no subject
"And why, if I may ask?" She knew that it had something to do with her, but she wanted to know the details anyway. Maybe Kaku had said something about her that had greatly angered Jyabura? She couldn't really imagine what that could've been.

"He had visited the cat. I know he whispered into his ears to kill you. I was just underlining my friendly request of leaving you alone with that. And believe me, he learned his lesson. I hurt him quite bad, if I may say so." In fact he enjoyed the fight, because it was something very different to fight a human then killing some stupid animals in the forests.

"If he does this ever again, I'll kill him" he added coldly, driven by his temper and revealing much more than he intended. "I'll kill anyone who even thinks of hurting you."

She sighed and closed her eyes for a moment. Why did everyone she was fond of have to be so stubborn? Everyone was trying to protect her as if she was unable to do that herself. "I also told this to Cook-san and I will also say it to you; don't get yourself in danger because of me. It's a waste of time."
no subject
With an annoyed sigh he crossed his arms. "The cook is one thing, I'm another. I'm your partner and the father, it's my natural responsibility to watch over you." That reminded him way too much of the talk he had with Naoto a long time ago. "You girls are really weird. This has nothing to do with abasing you."
no subject
She brushed a few stray hairs out of her face and chuckled slightly. "And you men are very strange, too," she smiled, since both were most likely true.
no subject
Thoughtfully he ran a hand through his hair. The 'business' with Kaku had just begun, there were much worse things to come. "And how are you doing? The pregnancy and all that."
no subject
"Fine, I think. I'm feeling a bit sick but Isane-san said that it's normal to feel that way," she said, suddenly glad about the change of subject. She had a lot of problems to deal with herself and even though she was very fond of Isane, she couldn't worry about her too.
no subject
"Uh, I'm sorry for that" he said and laid an arm around her. "I guess that's kind of my fault" he smirked and stroked her cheek again. "And now cheer up a bit, I don't like it when you look all that serious and sad. Smiling suits you better."
no subject
"Yes, it's all your fault," Robin teased, but not smiling like she usually would, just to tease some more. "Maybe I'm just not in the mood to smile, hm?"
no subject
"You're obviously not. Is that my fault too? How can I make you smile?" he asked her worried. "Tell me."
no subject
"Oh, just think of something fun," she said, still with that teasing tone.
no subject
Carefully he put his hand on her lower stomach, where he vaguely supposed their child to be. "Today it's lady's choice, haven't you heard?" He looked into her eyes. "I'm serious. All I want is to make you happy..."
no subject
"Do you really? Prove it then," she said, but now with a bright smile, knowing that she had failed in keeping her facade up any longer.
no subject
"H-how can I prove something like that?" he stuttered intimidated, completely overburdened with a playful question and nearly scared to death. "I'd do... whatever you want me to."

no subject
"But um... I was serious..." Talking about things that were obvious since long times was still the hardest thing for him.

The silence felt awkward after a while, though he had no idea what felt so wrong about it. "You behave a little weird today" he suddenly said bluntly, still eyes closed and leaning on her, "what's wrong?"

"Hm, I see" he said quietly, getting up a bit and embracing her. "But there's nothing you can do" he said and started to crawl her neck thoughtfully. "It's not your fault. He has even more reasons to hate me, you know."
He said nothing for a while, pondering on how to explain her that it was not her fault but his. "I guess I should talk to him. What do you think?" he added and kept crawling her neck.

The mere thought of talking about that kind of subjects with that cook freaked him out. But just sitting around and doing nothing was not part of his character. "If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. But not even have tried it is worse."
no subject
She sighed and leaned against him while closing her eyes; she didn't have high hopes for this.
no subject
He hugged her tighter and kissed along her neck slowlys, hoping to comfort her and in need to taste her. "It'll be ok. Somehow."
no subject
She leaned closer and kissed him gently, just to be an annoying tease, like she used to be. Too many things had made her more and more solemn.
no subject
"I tend to agree" he said after breaking the kiss, the slight blush on his face pointing out that he didn't count with that at all. "Guess I'll have to deal with those mood changes of yours, though I like this one" he added amused and began stroking her sides with his hands. "I really do."
