Summary; Alois found out Claude wants to kill him, and is in need of some support.

[He'd been unable to fall asleep. Not even Luca's presence had comforted him. Behind closed eyelids, he kept seeing Claude's glare. Those cold golden eyes staring at him as if he were nothing more than a pile of dung.
It's been only one day, yet to Alois it feels as if it had been an eternity. Claude had undressed him and put him into his nightgown, but Alois had been unable to enjoy the shower of attention. Not when Claude's every single movement was so full of contempt. He'd been afraid, even. He'd feared those hands would clasp around his throat and just snap his neck in two. His main concern was that Luca would walk in and witness his death.

By midnight, Alois is so agitated he climbs out of the bed, fearing that his nervous trembling will wake his brother. The dark corridors have never seemed scarier and more ominous as he slowly makes his way to Ciel's bedroom. He slides in the room, silent as a cat, and climbs onto the bed. He knows Ciel, being a demon, probably already sensed his presence, so he gets straight to the point.

He wraps his arms around Ciel's tiny shape and whispers in his ear.]

I need to ask you something.

[He probably would have noticed if he hadn't been asleep. He has no idea what Alois could possibly be afraid of when he and Sebastian are nearby- if Sebastian killed Claude once, he can most certainly do it again.

Strangely, eating should make him feel more energetic but he feels tired- sort of like you do after eating a large meal over the holidays. So when he wakes up, he panics for a moment, eyes wide- but he freezes. Then he relaxes.]

Don't wake me up like that. What do you want?

[Having Sebastian around makes Alois feel even worse. He knows Sebastian will do anything in his power to take revenge on him. And now that he's noticed how attached to Ciel Alois has grown, there are no doubts that he will do anything in his power to take Ciel away from him. Subtly.]

You still owe me a debt. [He's too nervous to settle. He keeps shifting his legs and tightening his grip around Ciel.] You haven't forgotten, have you? You can pay it now. There's something very important that I want. [But his tone is pretty firm. He's thought a long time about this.]

[He couldn't leave well enough alone could he? He's awake now, grumpy, unsettled-- why couldn't this possibly wait until morning? What was so important that he had to come into his room like this in the middle of the night?

And his eyes glow in the darkness, pupils reduced to slits, the way this debt sits with him is heavy and impossible to pay.]

How could I forget? Tch. What is it?

I want you to make a contract with me. Now.

[ He honestly... what? WHAT?! Of all the fucking things he could ask for, he could have anything at all, Ciel could do away with Claude. He could do away with everything around them without a contract. If he had a contracted demon already why did he need Ciel?]

No. Absolutely not.

[To make a contract with Alois would be in direct violation of his own. He wouldn't risk losing Sebastian again -- even if they hated one another and what they had become there was no keeping them apart.

It wasn't fate necessarily. It was need. Because Ciel needed him there, because Sebastian needed to serve him to be whole.

Alois is not something Ciel has any desire to consume. If only because his feelings are too conflicted- he couldn't possibly kill his creator anymore than he could kill his own parents. Twisted as that is.]

[And now Alois will start crying, because he needs this desperately] Ciel please, I'm begging you. I really want to do it. Claude-- he'll find a way around every order I give him. I made a contract with Hannah in the past. You remember it. It was the only way to stop him. Please Ciel don't say no. [And luckily Ciel doesn't need to breathe, because Alois is holding him onto him so tightly he wouldn't be able to either way.]

[He can't really handle what Alois is doing, every single nerve he could possibly hit is sore- and frankly he doesn't pity him enough to want to have ever offered a contract in the first place. Those are meant for those you want to season and kill. ]

Impossible. You understand the end result -- I refuse to eat you. If you are worried about Claude then you need to be a better master. The only reason you cannot control him is because you love him. Haven't you ever thought about issuing an order with your entire being that would force him to obey you? Honestly, it isn't that hard.

You chained a rabid monster to yourself by wanting a contract in the first place -- and you would do so willingly again? Don't make me laugh. I am a master, not a servant and you are the master of your own fate.

I wouldn't treat you as a servant, I never even treated Claude as a servant. [And he's getting angry now.] Do you think you can just refuse to pay your debt forever? This is what I'm asking for in exchange of what I did for you. You owe me this! I'd rather be eaten by the demon I created than by the one who keeps betraying me. [And in a much smaller voice.] If you make a contract with me, Sebastian will never be able to take you away from me. He told me that is what he wants to do.

Then that is half your problem. You have to start treating him as a servant and not your equal. If you find yourself this upset because he does not love you... why not just order him to?

[To Ciel that sounds simple enough. He doesn't understand what love is enough to know that it might not work. Alois's will has to be strong enough to carry out an absolute order- but he's too soft with Claude.]

I owe you a debt -- but I do not owe you a contract through that debt. Why do you want one with me? Sebastian already belongs to me and me alone. It's ridiculous to think that he could 'take me away' when he is the one in a bad position to begin with. I have a contract already and I have no intention of making another one.

It's not how it works! You can't just order people to love you! [Honestly, Ciel doesn't understand anything about these things.]

He will. He'll tell you mean things about me, and he'll act as if he actually cares about you. And you'll end up liking him more than you like me. [His tone is nearly hysterical. He closes his eyes.] If you made a contract with me, at least you'd never ever leave my side. You'd always be close to me.

[He sighs heavily. He feels like his whole world is slowly falling apart. Day after day.

Then, suddenly, his hands move to cup Ciel's soft cheeks, and he kisses him on the mouth.] Ciel, I just want to be close to you. [And he kisses him once more. He's desperate. His words are little more than intricate rambling. He knows this is probably a bad idea, considering how Ciel reacted last time, but he has nothing to lose now.]

I could care less if he cares about me. I gather information myself and make sound judgments based on that- as if I would believe anything he tells me now after what he tried to do with you and I--

[Ciel is shocked for several moments and can't really do anything, he forgets how to breathe, his heart doesn't even beat. He feels like he might die because of it and when he doesn't he tries to push Alois away.]

[Why does it have to scare him so much? Why is Alois so intent on this? Why does he keep pushing and pushing him to accept it when he is incapable of fully accepting touching anyone but Sebastian? He doesn't trust them. He can't trust anyone not to hurt him.

He's afraid. But he's not admitting to his fear. He turns his face and puts his hands in between his and Alois's so his lips won't connect again and presses gently to try and make him stop. He's realizing he can't be as forceful as he wants or he'll hurt him. Then the anger sets in.]

I told you not to do that! Why can't you just take 'no' for an answer?! You can be close to me without this being a factor! Or are you too stupid to see that?!

And why can't it be a factor? [He himself doesn't know why he needs it. Maybe it's his need for physical affection, maybe it's his loneliness, maybe it's his hormones-- maybe it's all of these things put together. If he could, he'd climb inside Ciel's every skin cell, just to see the proof that there's a sparkle of his own self inside of him, that he really was the one who made him so perfect

He's kissing the hand that is trying to stop him.] I'd never do anything that could hurt you, Ciel. And if you won't pay your debt by making a contract with me, will you accept to pay it by having faith in me? [And now his lips are on Ciel's neck. He's imagining what it must feel like for Sebastian to want to suck a soul out of this tiny body, but he'd rather not think about Sebastian right now.]

B-Because!

[He's struggling now, he can't seem to accept that this is happening but his struggle is childlike, he feels like he's going to get injured somehow despite what he's become now. He shoves him harder, he wants to slap him, he wants to hit him over and over and it's beginning to get to a point where he will eventually have very little self restraint soon.

He can't think. He feels dizzy. His cheeks flush, his heart remembers to beat, his lungs remember to fill with air. He feels like he's drowning and he can't swim against the the current.]

S-Stop it! Alois!

[Alois notices Ciel's panic. It makes him nearly panic too, because the last thing he wants is for Ciel to be afraid of him.

That's why he stops kissing his neck, and simply hugs him tightly, hiding his face in Ciel's hair.] I stopped. See? [He shifts a bit against him, and places one last kiss on Ciel's temple.] We can go back to sleep now. [Yes, he plans to sleep like this.]

[He stills and then moves to shove Alois right out of the fucking bed. He feels humiliated, furious, upset, like he did when he was a small powerless child.

And he's never going to let ANYONE make him feel that way again!]

Get. OUT!

[and he's about to cry now. He thought coming to see Ciel would have made him feel better. He thought it would've made him feel less abandoned than he does each time Claude glares at him. But it seems he's not any more welcome here than he is in his butler's room.] Don't reject me like that, Ciel. Not you too. I'll do anything you want, but don't treat me like that. [Sometimes he wonders why is it so incredibly hard to obtain affection. He wonders why the villagers hated him, why Claude never cared for him, and why Ciel doesn't seem to either. He can't help but wonder what is so disgusting about his own self that makes people want to stay away from him.]

[It's starting to get on his nerves- and what's worse is he feels a little guilty for doing that so harshly. It might be emotional manipulation but he's too tired to do anything about it now.]

Fine. I won't throw you out of my bed again. Just stop trying to... to kiss me.

[He swallows. Ciel's annoyed tone tells him that throwing a fit won't lead him very far right now. So he puts a smile back on his face. He's known Ciel for quite a while now, and he knows how much he hates not being in control. That's why he came up with an idea.] Tell me one thing. You don't like it when people kiss you, I get that. But would it feel better if you were the one kissing me? [His mood has very suddenly changed, and now he wants to play. He comes sitting next to Ciel on the bed once again (because, after all, Ciel just said he wouldn't kick him out again).] Try it! It's a game. Kiss right here. [And he pokes his own cheek.]

[Alois's mood can change in an instant... how bipolar does he have to be? He makes an irritated sound, shifting to roll over so he doesn't have to look at him.]

Shutup. Stop saying stupid things. As if I'd play a game like that.

[He pouts, even though he did not honestly expect Ciel to give in so easily. Now Ciel has his back turned to him, so Alois wraps his arms around him from behind.] Can I sleep with you tonight? I'll wake Luca up if I go back to our room. Also I'm too tired to walk. [He rubs his cheek against the back of Ciel's had. For some reason, he's always thought demons should be cold at the touch. Instead Ciel feels so incredibly warm.

There might be a tiny part of him that really really wants Sebastian to come wake Ciel up in the morning, only to find them asleep in the same bed and so close together.

He's quite tired now. He feels like he could fall asleep really easily, all snuggled against Ciel like this.] Please? I promise I'll stay still. [He yawns as he speaks.]

[He's still far too flustered to think clearly. He doesn't want Alois in his room - but he doesn't think he'll hear the end of it tomorrow if he doesn't let him stay. He does his best to pry him off and growls a little.]

You can stay if you stop touching me.

[His tone of voice is damn near venomous.]

[It's probably Ciel's venomous tone that makes Alois' droziness disappear instantly. Suddenly he's wide awake, and quite in the mood to growl as well.] Don't worry, I'll just hug you from behind. So you can pretend it's Sebastian hugging you instead. [And his voice is pure venom this time. Jealousy was never something he dealt with gracefully.]

Get out of my room. I am telling you now -- if you don't remove yourself I'll remove you myself.

[He really is exhausted and would like to simply go back to sleep. You're making this impossible.]

[Of course he doesn't plan to go anywhere. He turns his back to Ciel and starts crying silently. Because he knows Ciel wouldn't have been this upset if Alois hadn't touched some hidden truth with his words.]
