Zaheela rubbed her eyes sleepily as she focused on guiding Eisen to the Lake. She had forced herself awake from her potion induced state to open the door for Smee and Nill and spent the last few hours preparing the food. Meats for grilling, vegetables, salads, drinks, fruit dishes, sweets, a plethora of treats, enough food to feed the city, or at least a good number of heavy eaters. Knowing full well that Faye and Greed had said they were coming, she also had stored away a good amount of alcohol in the cart. Towels had been folded, batteries inserted into a portable radio with spares tucked away, blankets too, she had thought of anything they could need. She was only glad it was sunny today.

The swimsuit was uncomfortable under her clothes, being unused to wearing such cloth, but she had assumed it would be improper for her to do as she normally did. The lake appeared, as Cobray had said and she let out a girlish giggle. Water! FISH! WATER! Eeeee! As soon as they were close, she ran ahead, pulling off pants and shirt, tossing them to Eisen, who with a sigh, caught thim in his beak. He was far too used to his master and her love of water. He watched as she ran into the water clad in her bathing suit and dove in. She had forgotten she was supposed to help set up... Silly master.

Jeager already had a forkful of the pie with him, "Too big?" He asked, then ate some of it, leaving a small piece for Shogun. The blonde held the fork up, cupping his other hand underneath it incase the food dropped.

Mars looked horrified at the two's behavior. Jeager was treating Shogun like.. a boyfriend.

Shogun sighed at the German's behavior. He was such a girl sometimes.

He lifted up the base of his mask a little, snagging the fork out of Jeager's hand. Oh hell no, he wasn't having someone feeding him. The tip of the fork and the pie disappeared into his now visible thin-lipped mouth. He swallowed almost immediately, choking as the un-chewed morsel caught in his throat.

Jeager patted Shogun on the back, trying to get the food unstuck, "You're supposed to chew first, herr Shogun!"

Jeager's thumping on his back quickly dislodged the food in Shogun's throat and he coughed a few times as he got his breath back, his body quivering from that almost disaster.

"Are you alright?.. Maybe it's best if you don't eat anything after all.." Jeager felt bad. He was trying to make Shogun feel better and he just nearly choked him to death. Plus he had been constantly hounding him about his health after he'd taken Shogun into his home.

Shogun rubbed the back of his head uneasily, "Hai hai, I'm fine Jeager-kun." he leaned back shutting his eyes, "I just.. didn't know how to eat." he admitted, feeling slightly uncomfortable.

He eyed the German, "If you get me another piece though, I'll try again..?" he offered, his voice sounding a little weak. Shogun wasn't used to being nice. XD

The German beamed happily. Shogun really was changing! "Of course!" He went over and got a slightly bigger slice of pie, and brought it back over to Shogun.

"Here you go." This time he got a plate for the poor Chojin. "You can cut it into smaller slices. Und remember to chew, then swallow."

Shogun took the plate, muttering a quiet 'Arigato' and using the knife to cut it into tiny pieces. He lifted his mask again and dropped a piece into his mouth.

He slowly chewed the piece, tasting the weird crumbly creamy oreo filing. After making sure he had chewed enough, he finally swallowed. A pause then he looked at the plate quizically. "That's.. actually pretty good." he seemed surprised, but pleased.

"Really? You like it?" Jeager continued to beam, so happy Shogun (of all people) thought his cooking was good.

"Mmhm." Shogun nodded and picked up a bigger piece, biting into it quicker then before. It really was quite good, but Shogun, who had never eaten anything before, would have probably liked anything at this point. XD He lifted his mask a little more to get better access to his mouth, stopping just below his nose, the dark tanned skin of Goldman visible now.

The German sat down next to Shogun, noticing his exposed mouth. His skin was even darker than Jeager's, and he had gorgeous lips-

Jeager shook his head and pushed away the thought, but he still couldn't help but wonder what Shogun looked like under that mask.

Shogun continued to munch on the pie, unknowing of Jeager's thoughts. All too quickly his slice was eaten and he lay back against the tree, relaxed and too contempt to even pull his mask down.

Some of the crumbs from the pie were sticking to the corners of his mouth, but he either didn't noticed them or didn't care.

Jeager, used to the odd Japanese habits, leaned over and picked the crumbs off Shogun's mouth. Broken used to do that to him when he was younger.

Mars did a double take and glanced over, almost having a heart attack. Was Jeager PAMPERING Shogun?!!

"Whut da fuck!"

Shogun eyed Jeager nervously when he felt him touch his skin. Even though he was trying to be helpful, the warmth of Jeager's fingers on his cold cheek made it slightly tingly. He quickly pulled his mask down, covering his face once more. "Uh.. arigato Jeager."

"Heh-" Jeager was interupted by Mars' random outburst. He looked over at the bird, who was stomping over to the two.

"What da fuck are yous doin', Jeager?!"

The blonde frowned, placing a hand on Shogun's arm, "Nothing! Just having him try out some food."

"YOU WERE PICKIN' CRUMBS OFF HIS FACE LIKE A GIRL!" The bird ruffled himself up, aggitated.

Shogun eyed up the bird. He was starting to get a headache from Mars' shouting and didn't really want to get into an argument. "Jeager-kun was just trying to be helpful, you don't have to go all crazy and insult him like that."

Jeager.. kun?

What the hell was wrong with Shogun? Mars just stared in disbelief. .. Maybe Jeager was right? Maybe he was changing? The bird swallowed his pride and looked away, ".. Sorry, Jeager."

Jeager nodded his head, "I forgive you, Eskara."

".. Be careful." Mars grunted before returning to Eisen and Kevin. It was best if he avoided looking over at those two for the rest of the picnic.

"I'm sorry, herr Shogun. He vorries about me." Jeager sighed and leaned against the larger Chojin. He didn't find his own behavior weird.. he was only acting how he normally would around Brocken or Mars.

Shogun waved his hand dismissevely, "Daijobu, daijobu." he was feeling kinda tired now already and rested back against the tree, looking down at the blonde leaning against him. Despite himself, he smiled behind his mask.

Jeager closed his eyes, actually being quiet for once. He was still wondering why Mars had gotten so upset. Then he began to think of how he was acting. Mars and Brocken were the only two people he ever felt really comfortable with. He would never act this way around Kid, Terry, or the rest of the gang.

The German still wasn't used to having a lot of friends, or best friends for that matter. And those thoughts he had about Shogun earlier.. He had a few about Anita and Mars occasionally.

He felt his face get a little warm as he snuggled closer to the Chojin God. It seemed that 'beauty' was falling for the 'beast'.
