Log: Ongoing

When; Tuesday feb 27, All day
Rating; Who knows? I mean... We'll start at PG for silliness...
Characters; Anyone and everyone Invited, and thensome. (AKA, open to all)
Summary; They had planned a lake party, and g'dimmit, they were gonna have one!
Log;

Zaheela rubbed her eyes sleepily as she focused on guiding Eisen to the Lake. She had forced herself awake from her potion induced state to open the door for Smee and Nill and spent the last few hours preparing the food. Meats for grilling, vegetables, salads, drinks, fruit dishes, sweets, a plethora of treats, enough food to feed the city, or at least a good number of heavy eaters. Knowing full well that Faye and Greed had said they were coming, she also had stored away a good amount of alcohol in the cart. Towels had been folded, batteries inserted into a portable radio with spares tucked away, blankets too, she had thought of anything they could need. She was only glad it was sunny today.

The swimsuit was uncomfortable under her clothes, being unused to wearing such cloth, but she had assumed it would be improper for her to do as she normally did. The lake appeared, as Cobray had said and she let out a girlish giggle. Water! FISH! WATER! Eeeee! As soon as they were close, she ran ahead, pulling off pants and shirt, tossing them to Eisen, who with a sigh, caught thim in his beak. He was far too used to his master and her love of water. He watched as she ran into the water clad in her bathing suit and dove in. She had forgotten she was supposed to help set up... Silly master.

As much as the angel would have liked to enjoy the lake like the others seemed to about him, it didn’t seem to be helping very much that the weight of his soaking wings was doing a nice job of dragging him down quite a bit into the watery depths, and all his helpless splashing about wasn’t doing anything for his nerves, really. So with a bit of guilt at having left so soon, Aziraphale gracelessly floundered his merry way over to the nearest shoreline and haphazardly flopped upon the muddy banks, looking as if he were a feathery mess of seaweed.

Murmuring a soft "ngk" at his current predicament, the angel turned about until he was lying on his back, pale legs spread and muddy wings tucked inward before he sat up with a hand brushing over his left cheek at an itch, unknowingly smearing quite a bit of sodden dirt in it’s place. "Lyra, dear! Are you having fun?" Smiling all of a sudden even though he hadn’t the faintest idea that he looked a positive wreck, which was probably a good thing, Aziraphale waved happily toward the young girl and threw a glance over his shoulder, searching for White so that he could join them.

"Yeah! Lyra shouted cheerfully as she swam towards Aziraphale. Her dæmon was resting a few yards away from him, and she stepped out of the water to give Pantalaimon a sodden embrace.

"You look a fright, you know. Anyway, I'm going to see who else is here that I know!"

Crowley followed Lyra up onto the beach with an amused grin, though it was more directed at the muddy, soggy angel.

"Well, angel, if you were going to pick a place to lay down, the mud flats would NOT be it."

Pulling himself upward into a standing position rather gracelessly, the angel glanced over what little he could take in of his dismal appearance and blanched, growing rather pale. "Oh my," Aziraphale sighed a bit too loudly than good propriety would have allowed, but he was much too occupied with turning to look over the muddy damage done to his wings that were presently curled behind him, all fluffy feathers dotted here and there with patches of slimy dirt. This was certainly not very pleasant.

Crowley looked amused as the angel looked himself over. "Next time, pick a better spot to lay down in." he stated, with a smirk.

"C'mon, let's get that off of you." And so saying, he dragged the poor angel back towards the water.

Nill greeted them, swimming around in the water, she wasn't that far from her teacher and she had spotted them nearby...How could she not say hello?

Well...maybe more of wave. She stayed in the water, finding her two-piece bathing suit a little bit embarassing to be walking on land with.
