Rating; Who knows? I mean... We'll start at PG for silliness...
Characters; Anyone and everyone Invited, and thensome. (AKA, open to all)
Summary; They had planned a lake party, and g'dimmit, they were gonna have one!
Log;

Zaheela rubbed her eyes sleepily as she focused on guiding Eisen to the Lake. She had forced herself awake from her potion induced state to open the door for Smee and Nill and spent the last few hours preparing the food. Meats for grilling, vegetables, salads, drinks, fruit dishes, sweets, a plethora of treats, enough food to feed the city, or at least a good number of heavy eaters. Knowing full well that Faye and Greed had said they were coming, she also had stored away a good amount of alcohol in the cart. Towels had been folded, batteries inserted into a portable radio with spares tucked away, blankets too, she had thought of anything they could need. She was only glad it was sunny today.

The swimsuit was uncomfortable under her clothes, being unused to wearing such cloth, but she had assumed it would be improper for her to do as she normally did. The lake appeared, as Cobray had said and she let out a girlish giggle. Water! FISH! WATER! Eeeee! As soon as they were close, she ran ahead, pulling off pants and shirt, tossing them to Eisen, who with a sigh, caught thim in his beak. He was far too used to his master and her love of water. He watched as she ran into the water clad in her bathing suit and dove in. She had forgotten she was supposed to help set up... Silly master.

Glancing back to Jowy, Kio gave him a quick nod and motioned mid-air, rather needlessly, his imitation of a woman's form. "It's something you can wear to go swimming. For women, swimsuits really only cover the essentials." And here, he was half-tempted to cup his chest in demonstration, but only decided against the idea in the event that Zaheela and any stray fists loomed nearby. Common sense told him that women had a tendency to hear and see with eyes hidden in every which way, and he really didn't want to test the idea.

"Mm. I'm guessing that means you didn't wear one?"

However guilelessly Jowy meant the words he spoke, Kio just as equally (and rather purposely) misinterpreted them with a suggestive quirk of his brow.

"I'd encourage you to strip in that case, but eh~," he trailed off, flicking a thumb in the general direction where the others were gathered. "I get the feeling we'd be labeled exhibitionists."

Shifting the crate from one shoulder to the next, he gave a slight shrug, partially out of the need to ease the tension there. "It's really no fun jumping the water alone." But no sooner had he spoken, though, did a curiously brilliant thought strike him that curled his lips up in an impish grin. "So how about we just wet your feet a little~? Your hair won't get wet, mm?"

It probably would have been wise to take Jowy up on the offer. Even though Kio had grown accustomed to carrying all sorts of items - art supplies, beer, and half-conscious best friends - it wasn't exactly comparable to battling forest underbrush with a box of multi-flavored chupas digging into his collarbone. Still, ever so stubborn, he shook his head quickly. "Nah, I can put this down when we get to the picnic cloth. Bu~ut..." He leaned forward and teasingly tapped the younger male's nose in time with his wink. "A back-rub sounds a little more promising (♥)."

"I don't think I'd mind at all," he hummed, mentally cheering for the fact that he was getting a free back-rub for bringing along his candy of choice. Not a bad deal at all, really, and with luck, he'd manage to sneak in a nap on Jowy's side, lap, or other available body part worth turning into a cushion. The thought was warming, even though it simultaneously reminded him of how Soubi nearly always turned away his affections.

"Ah~," he nibbled lightly on his lip, as though it would help clear his thoughts. "How about a little bit off to the side? It'll seem more like a date, mhmm?"

Taking that as his cue to offer ideas to pass the time, Kio enthusiastically held out a hand and counted off the options. "After we do that, we could sneak in some time in the water. If not, there's always time to relax on the blanket, yeah?"

With a small smile, he turned to Greed and quite emphatically waved off the other's teasing comment with a wag of his finger. "Already having dinner with Jow-chan here," he commented airily, then dropped the hand to lightly brush against Jowy's. "And~, we're going to sneak off to do x-rated things." A tug. "Right?"

If there were nefarious plans related to the debauchery of a certain former king afoot - well, Kio paid the whispers of suggestion in his mind little thought. (At least at the present moment, anyhow.) What he found himself engaged in, instead, was tugging the picnic cloth out of the crate and spreading it on the field. If it was at the right angle, then chances were the shadow of the tree just above them would provide enough shade and cover, which could only contribute to the mental pact where he would keep his hands to himself. Of course. "Mm~, the nap does sound pretty inviting."

"I remember when we first met that you mentioned something about not really liking cold weather," Kio mused, scratched thoughtfully behind his ear, and slid easily from his crouch beside the blankets to stand. "So I guess you're right! With the weather like this, we should get soaked first, strip later, and nap last. Possibly stick in drawing somewhere in there, too, between the stripping and the napping."

Slipping out of his shoes and shirt to leave in a small pile off to the side, the artist-turned-water-tester canted his head in the direction of the lake. "Sure you want to take your staff with you? And your shirt? Might get 'em wet."
