OPEN;
When; Saturday, January 28th, nighttime
Characters; All are welcome! Open log, just specify if it's an open thread or not or if there are 4th wall rules for your character in the comment or subject line! (4th wallers also welcome~)
Summary; The Blue Light's one chilling hangout; good music, good food, and a spectacularly crabby owner who is even letting in under-18s for the 4th Wall weekend.
Log;
Edmund is actually at work tonight - he hopes a member of his family might show up, but he's also wondering who else might show up. He's made sure that he's well staffed for the extra crowds and well stocked, no less.
He just hopes nothing gets out of control.
And of course, that a member of his family shows up, looking for him.

I've a moment now, if you like.

Yes that's me. I'm Edmund Pevensie.
no subject
I was given to understand you'd be...older.
no subject
Have we met?
no subject
I think not, but I was told you've done a great deal in watching over my daughter. If you're the same King Edmund the Just of whom I've heard tell.
no subject
Yes, would I be correct to call you Queen of Daventry, then?
no subject
[Particularly not from a king. She visibly relaxes, her expression softening.]
This is a strange world; I'm glad to know there's someone to look after her here. Has she been all right? I've looked all over for her, but I was told you might be my best chance of finding her amidst all these people.

[POLITE OKAY]
She's well enough, I think. Always picking up things.
no subject
She gets that from her father. Though if you've had the occasion to notice, you must spend a great deal of time with her.

I've tried to be there when she's needed help, or simply a friend. I thought it would be important to give her someone of her own rank to spend time with, in case she felt out of place.
[Well.]
We ride together. Once she and I rescued a unicorn together.
[Sort of.]

I can't imagine she'd ever feel at home in a place like this. Really, it's just horrible, and to think she's been away for so long...
It comes as great comfort to me, to know she's had a friend who could understand her, here.
[And also that apparently she is still capable of being around unicorns, because if not then someone would have to die.]
no subject
[Except from man-eating Clowns, apparently]
She does have other friends, like Count Cain.
no subject
[Don't think you're off the hook just because she likes you, Ed. NOTHING ESCAPES HER.]
Ah, yes, the one with the letters. I met him yesterday, I believe, since I thought he might know how to find her, as well.
no subject
[He nods]
I'm sorry his help wasn't sufficient.
no subject
[Approval rating: up 30%]
Oh, no, it was sufficient. I just didn't wish to keep him from his business of flinging love notes to his clutch of adoring girls, that's all.
no subject
[A laugh]
Of course you wouldn't. It's when he flings them at Rosella that I get concerned.
no subject
Is that something that happens often?
no subject
[He's cleaning the bar]
Of course Rosella doesn't ask for it.
no subject
[Biting that thought off with true Mom Exasperation, okay.]
Well.
