Summary; The handmaiden and her god have missed each other very much, and finally have a proper reunion.
Log;
It was frustrating. All of it. She could handle being stuck in the manor for an undetermined amount of time. After all, she was able to walk around, instead of being confined to a hospital bed. However, the fact that Pyramid Head was dead - truly dead - made her angry. She wanted to get revenge, but she knew it was impossible. Her Guardian would go unavenged, and that frustrated her.
Of course, the fact that Henry did not remember a thing about their relationship or his past frustrated her beyond all reason. She felt neglected, and helpless, as far as Henry was concerned. She did not dare try to force the memories at him; to do so would be dangerous to his already fragile mental state. She needed to be patient, but her patience was wearing thin. Xulchibara's affections towards Ran did not upset her incredibly so, per se. She understood his need for balance and the fact that Ran provided him with something she could not. It was the same way with her and Henry. It was more the fact that Ran carried his child that bothered her the most. She and Henry had tried numerous times to begin a family, but they had all failed. She wanted to be a mother, but it seemed as if fate were denying it to her.
And so, her frustration had gotten the best of her. She had thrown furniture across the room, shattered vases into a million tiny pieces, and tore out the pages of books, letting out her frustration even as the library was filled with the blackness that came with her rage. Finally, her anger nearly spent, she collapsed on the crimson sofa, and buried her head in her hands, her mental chaos beginning to die down.
And, as if things couldn't get much worse along with the curse that made her want to protect Henry and Xulchibara with every breath in her body, there was also the fact that a certain womanly cycle had begun earlier in the day, which contributed to her foul attitude, as it was a reminder that she was not with child, no matter how hard she might wish it were so. I can't stand this, she thought.

Slowly, Alessa looked up at him, her blue eyes narrowing. "Hello," she said simply. "I'm sorry I made a mess of the room."
I'm surprised to see you; you've been scarce as of late, she sent the accusation out to him mentally. And you look terrible, she observed. "What happened?"
Something was going on. As to what it was, she hadn't figured it out yet, but...the fact that her god was keeping secrets from her seemed to make her even more irritated. There had never been secrets between them before. Why would he start now?

....And then asked the question He had been dreading.
Yes, Xulchilbara had been avoiding her, actually. She knew Him too well, and He was in no mood to face either her condemnation, her jealousy, or her pity in this matter.
But....He could not lie, either.
I MaDe A VeRy CoStLy BaRaGiN., He replied, His mental voice seeming just as strained as the rest of His manner.

Ah. I see, she thought to herself, her eyes widening in realization and shock. He was...
"...human?" She asked quietly. It certainly would explain why he looked so exhausted. Nevertheless, she shivered slightly with his predator's eyes boring into her, and she shrank back slightly. She had seen him use those eyes many a times on others, but never on her own person. Always had Xulchibara been a being of restraint. He had never looked upon her with a predator's desire to hunt, to claim. She had to admit it made her feel a bit nervous.
However, her shock as to what he had done was still seeping through her, and it numbed her nervousness as her brain struggled to register the truths it was recieving. Xulchibara was a god. She couldn't possibly imagine him being anything but.

Like a floodgate opening the fire, fury, rage.....and darkness came off of Him in a tangible wave.
The Library had started to reassert itself in preceptive reality, but the destructive force of His anger threw it further into ashen rust, and decay than Alessa's tantrum had done.
It is generally expected that such supernatural creatures can move with inhuman speed when they choose to.
It was rare that Xulchilbara ever did, unless the situation truly called for it...but right now? He did not particularly care about keeping the semblance of humanity.
There was no real perceptible movement, nothing for the eyes to translate to the mind, and thus no warning.
From sitting a few feet away, to slamming the back of Alessa's skull into the flagstones, there was nothing but a growl more mechanical sounding than organic.
HUmAN?1 He snarled at Alessa around preternaturally extended teeth.
Not a set of vampiric fangs, those were limited to incisors, but rather more like larger versions of a snake's fangs doubled and trippled to make six or seven matched pairs along the upper jaw.
Now, more than ever, there was no effort to hide the deformations as in times past, but rather capitalizing on the visible threat.
"I mAy bE AblE To DIe, bUt I aM No hUmAn!"
He had not cracked her skull in slamming her backwards ( even angry, He could not bring Himself to hurt her) but it would certainly hurt.
Razor edged nails sliced through the collar, and upper part of Alessa's shirt, and ripped it away, while the opposing hand curled under the back of her head to both protect it from the hard floor, and immobilize her.
A kiss from a creature with those inhuman sets of fangs was nothing short of dangerous as the merest graze resulted in welling beads of blood from lip and tongue.
AfTeR EvErYtHiNg yOu hAvE SeEn, AfTeR kNoWiNg EvErYtHiNg I Am, YoU DArE TO cAlL mE tHaT?! the horror of His voice scathed like blades through the shared connection of thier minds. Without her permission, He let her feel the want...the craving for blood, for pain, for pleasure....for everything He subsisted on, and amidst that drowning torrent of exquisite pain, He kissed her as though a starving man with a feast lay before Him.

Without warning, the Red God's anger, blood lust, sadism, and pure darkness onslaughted her very being. Her pupils dilated and her breath caught in her throat, and as all of these things were being pounded into her mind all at once, she found it extremely hard to breathe. Am I dying? she wondered to herself, unable to tear her eyes away from his crimson stare. She wondered if Mistress Death would walk through the door at any moment, take her hand, and tell her that it was time to come home.
But no, death was not going to take her, and as the full essence of Xulchibara's being bore down on her, she felt a change, a metamorphosis of sorts. Everything that she had learned from Valerie, all of the doubt that the presence of others had placed in her as far as her motives were concerned were eroding away. In a manner of seconds, she was the burnt young woman from before, whose mere glare could transform anyone into a monster. His hatred and bloodlust fed her own, and the yearning to tear every single person who had killed Pyramid Head into tiny pieces filled her heart, and a roaring torrent of everything that was the Red God consumed her very soul.
And then, his lips were on hers, and his teeth were tearing into her lips, and she could feel them bleeding. For a very long time she had wanted things to be gentle, to be loving, but the darkness that he was throwing at her was turning her into the fury that he called her so very often. She wanted this. It made her feel like she was his, and she wanted nothing more than that...there were no words to convey how she felt, and so she merely sent him mental impressions of punishments gone by, of anger and bitterness that had never truly left.

She felt wonderful, intoxicating...her rage matched him, called to him.
Her anger, and adamancy for truth and to protect the true innocents excited, and enticed him.
In return the whirling maelstrom of his own consciousness pushed into her, consumed and yet held her fast.
Mortality did not change the basic makeup of Him, as becoming immortal did not often change the mind or memories of those few humans who achieved it.
Angry, yes, but still he loved her...would always love her.
No other woman, or child or set of circumstances would change that, Alessa's jealousies non-withstanding.
Like spark to tinder, she responded to the darkness; with fury and her own fire-kissed power, she lashed back out at him, and gave back the pain, pleasure, and rage he so desperately craved.
I cAn sMeLl yOu... He growled, referring to the blood scent in the air. It was maddening that both the women in His life were bleeding in one form or fashion, yet He had always been forced to be so cautious around them.
His hands slid down her back, following the curve of her spine, then lower over the swell of her hips, until fingers found thighs, and likewise tore the fabric there; a display of irritable frustration.
The hard press of fangs brushed against her chest, but did not break skin as He tasted the salt of her sweat; the scent and essence of her making Him growl low in His throat.
A moment, and scathing eyes burned into her's. A cruel bladed smile turned on her as His sharp nails pricked her hips. Shifting things danced in those flame lit eyes.
Eyes that held her's as He bent to run the tip of His tongue around her navel.
....AnD yOu ARE mInE..., His 'voice' grated through Alessa's mind as He forcefully raised her hips, brought mouth and tongue up against heated feminine flesh.
A low murmuring growl of pleasure accompanied His shiver as the taste of thick, rich blood blossomed across His tongue.

They were more claws than fingernails, really, and they pricked her skin, drawing blood to the surface in clear rivulets, and the pain was sweet. The pain of the fire, the pain that her tormenter and so-called "judges" had bestowed upon her was most unpleasant, but the pain that Xulchibara offered was sensual in nature, and it fed the dark parts of her heart. Henry, after all, would never hurt her, not with such exquisite pain.
She groaned deep in her throat as the Red God's fangs brushed against her skin and as his tongue began to taste her. His words were like a brand into her mind, and she knew that she would not belong to anyone else for all eternity. She was the Red God's, heart, mind, body, and soul. Nothing would change that.
I am yours...yours and yours alone, she reinstated in agreement as another groan slipped past her lips as his tongue found the source of her bleeding; the blood of life that was sacred and respected in ancient women gone by, when they would sit in their red tents and embrace womanhood with open arms. This was a sensual encounter unlike anything Alessa had experienced so far, and it was not unpleasant.
...Drink from me... she permitted him, knowing that his blood lust could not be held back for too long.

He fed on her fury, her pain, her darkness; drank them down as much as the blood He coaxed from her womb.
Her declaration of devotion made Him smile wickedly, His mouth still pressed to the wet heat of her sex.
A smile, and a low growl that sent vibration along sensitive tissue, and He lifted her bodily until He was nearly seated upright, while Alessa's shoulders and upper torso were still flat on the floor.
The difference in their heights was the only way such a position would work....that and the ease that preternatural strength afforded Him.
One arm remained locked around her waist, supporting her lower back, while the other guided her knees to bend and rest comfortably against her sides, her ankles hooked over His shoulders.
She squirmed involuntarily as His tongue delved deeper into her; pressing against the walls of her passage in the search for further blood.
A grunt of very mild irritation, and the arm not supporting her entire weight locked around her leg, and curled to bring his fingers against her clit.
Now, using the innate control He possessed over flesh to very slight effect, The Red God coaxed her bleeding to increase; instead of a course of days, His mouth and tongue coaxed her cycle to flow in a few minutes.
Plunging His tongue into her again and again, His fingers rubbed and massaged the point at the apex of her thighs, intent on throwing her over the edge of climax as He drank from her.

As his fingers caressed her and the blood began to flow more rapidly, she thrust out with her mind in a sensual reply; whether it was unconscious or not, she wasn't sure. The smell of blood filled the room, and still those red eyes were the only thing she could see; she was entranced, hypnotized.
Alessa's scream was one of pure agony and pleasure combined, and it sounded deafening to her ears. She thrust back again at him mentally, their minds touching. Blood poured from her in a great torrent, her body's cycle slowly coming to a close. Trembling, her breath coming in shallow gasps, she whispered, "...I'm sorry."
If anything, Xulchibara had proven his point. Immortal or no, he still held sway over her. And no force, god, curse, or enemy could ever change that.
