When; May 26, Day
Rating; PG-13
Characters; Greed
so_very_greedy and Wordsworth
prof_wordsworth
Summary; Greed takes Wordsworth up on an offer of pool. He also sees a perfect opportunity to create a new drinking pal.
Log;
Greed stretched fitfully as he arrived at Wordsworth's apartment. Last night had been a hell of a lot rougher than he had wanted it to be. He supposed Rangiku would be safe enough at the temple and it would do him some good to take his mind off it.
"Oi," he barked, knocking on the door, "Will, open up."

Smiling at the loud knocking and Greed's voice, William opened the door, "Glad to see you made it Greed."

"Ha ha! Nice to see ya', Will! Better get your books ready, because you're about to get taken to school."

He walked deeper into the flat,"Don't mind the mess, still fixing things up."

"I say, that's a lot of bottles, are you sure you'll still be standing by the end of the first game?" William asked with a small laugh.

He stood aside and watched Greed break the ball rack. "Created using alchemy? That's extraordinary! What's your world like? It sounds so much unlike my own."

He didn't manage to sink anything, and so waited for the other man to make a move.
"As for alchemy, it's got three steps, get it? Understanding, deconstruction, and reconstruction. You can turn a pile of wood into a wooden table in seconds, but you have to know HOW the table is made, first."

William stared at the table for a moment and then made his move, green 6 pocketed.

"Yeah. Methy-zillah's, or whatever the hell they are. He's not so bad, though his inferiority complex is a bit tiresome. You guys ALL smell human, to me."
He continued to wait for the other man's luck to run out.
"He works for that nutty Dietrich guy. Gives me the creeps. I'd put my powers against his anyday, though."

He took a shot, sinking the yellow 1 ball, the going on to sink the red 7.
"How about a wager? You and me go shot for shot. Every time we make a shot, we take a "shot" from a small glass for every time the ball bounces off the edge, or another ball."
no subject
He thought for a moment, "How small are the shot glases?"
no subject
Which was to say nothing of the actual alcohol content.

Greed took fired a shot, watching it bounce 4 times. He sank no shot, but put the ball in a rather uncomfortable spot.
"Awww, damn," he said, downing 4 shots, "YOU."
no subject
"Alright, your turn."
no subject
"Good luck with THAT," he laughed, downing two shots.
