Log;
He was hoping that this time having tea with a guest he had invited would go better. Rin Asano sounded like a lively and intelligent girl. William was looking forward to talking with her.

But somewhere at the back of William's mind, there was also the hope that for a few hours at least he could forget about Cardinal dei Medici arriving in the City and just how much work it would be to keep the foolish man quiet.

William sighed and looked at his pocket watch, it was almost 3 pm, time to get the tea ready.

Having run up the stairs and reached what she hoped really was the Professor's flat, Rin knocked and stood back a step to wait for the door to be opened.

The building looked completely identical to the one she lived in. The walls were so even and gray and it looked all so drab that she'd considered taking up residence in the temple with Makie - but she could think about that later.

Rin followed the Professor quietly to the sitting room, where she admired the beautiful, foreign-looking tea set and wondered just what that on the plate next to the cup might be, as she had yet to taste both cake and chocolate.

When a third person's voice could be heard, she started slightly and looked up, about to apologize in case she had interrupted another visit - but there was no one.

"Who's been talking?", she blurted out, rather confused.

Rin stared. And stared. And blinked.

"Ah... yes. I have heard of the curse days." No, she wasn't going to be surprised anymore. Not much, anyway. Never mind she had never seen a top hat OR a pool table in her life to begin with.

So she thought she'd ask. "What are those, anyway? The table looks strange."
