Kimimaro stood outside of the third apartment complex, feeling a little anxious. Today there were no curses stealing his clothing, putting camels below his window or filling his doorway with sand dunes, for which he was very thankful. Perhaps now he could gain the sort of information he sought from this so-called alchemist. Greed was a problem, and one that couldn't be taken care of through Kimimaro's usual methods. He needed some answers, if only to reassure himself that he would not have to put up with such annoyances forever.
Quickly, Kimimaro went inside and sought out apartment number nine.
He knocked on the door.

The meeting had not quite been a complete waste of time-he knew now that the homunculus could be killed, and what would be required to do it-but he seemed to have arrived at a dead end.
He would have to think of another way.
