Log; COMPLETE
When; June 10
Rating; PG
Characters; Kisame
samehada_lover and Aizen
good_and_proper
Summary; Kisame is sick of Aizen's face and so means to destroy it.
Log;
There was a small bounce to Kisame's step as he approached the Pandora restaurant where Aizen claimed to be dining. It really had been too long since he had killed someone. The opportunity to put his sword to use against such an arrogant sack of refuse was just too delightful to turn down. Itachi-san wouldn't mind. After all, Aizen might be an ally (for now), but that didn't mean he had to be a living one.
He made sure to take the route where he could approach the bastard from behind. Seeing him now, that pretentious lift of his spine, a ridiculous parasol shading the back of his head, was enough to make a man break out a deadly water jutsu then and there. Good thing for Aizen, Kisame had manners.
"Hey, ugly! Did you order my tea?"

"Hardly," he said, "But I don't try to swat a fly with a chainsaw."
He lashed out with a straight jab, aiming the blow for Kisame's lower spine.

That ... hurt.
Fine. If he couldn't defeat the bastard from above, he would do it from below. He folded his arms against his sides and kicked with his back legs, the water rushing past his gills, exhilarating. If he tried really hard, he could almost smell the blood in the veins of the hunted.
He burst from the water just mere feet from where Aizen stood, planning to use the momentum to try and bowl him over. One hand jutted out in hopes of catching the man's neck.
If all went well, he could just rip out Aizen's throat with his teeth.

Aizen waited until he was just within reach, then snaked his arm out, gripping Kisame's hand with his own and applying pressure. He brough his face in close to the shinobi's, smiling.
"Do you think I am so easy to beat? Ridiculous."
no subject
She would always come to him.
"Did anyone ever tell you that you're unbearably ugly when you're this close?"
This time he swept Samehada toward the man from below, straight between the legs.
That's going to hurt, Kisame thought, smiling.

"I'm tired of this. I have places to go. It doesn't matter if you strike me once, or one hundred times. The attacks won't go through."
no subject
"It sounds to me like you're just looking for excuses to return to your tea. Perhaps you should consider a new line of work?"
He rested Samehada against his shoulder. "Or perhaps we should call it a draw?"

Kisame smiled. "But you're not. Even if you could hurt me, I don't think you would. Consider for a moment who I am."
He rested a finger on his chin. "Now that I think about it ... is that why you've been holding back? Smart man. And so long as we're on the subject, I don't think I want you mentioning this fight to Itachi-san. Things could get ugly."
no subject
"If I wished, I could leave you in agony here, broken and mentally shattered. But I will not do so. Not because of Itachi, not because of fear, but because you bore me. There is no point crushing someone who isn't a threat right now."
no subject
He moved toward Aizen and stopped beside his shoulder, looking straight ahead. "But if it's any consolation, I find you terribly entertaining."
no subject
"And I find you bent terribly low to the ground."

Fish filled with this much pain got eaten.
Maybe ... shouldn't have ... pushed so far.... his mind screamed.
no subject
"Can't have you falling in, now can I? That would be rude," he said, "I do hope you can stand."
no subject
It couldn't have lasted more than a few seconds, yet it was a struggle to lift his still-cramping hand atop Aizen's in order to pry himself loose from that grip.
Perhaps the spirit power of the shinigami was not equivalent to chakra. If it was ... Kisame was almost entirely protected from attacks of that sort.
Unless it came from someone like Sir Leader.
He found himself breaking into a large grin. "I suppose this means I'm not boring anymore?"
no subject
Aizen parted the water around himself and calmly left the scene, shun-po'ing out.
no subject
Respect?
Never.
He would make the shinigami pay dearly for what he had done. It was only a matter of time.
