Log: Complete

When; Sunday, 17th of June, evening(?)
Rating; Teen (a real feat, considering it’s Greed), for swearing, most likely
Characters; Yuffie Kisaragi ([livejournal.com profile] cupofwutaiglory) and Greed ([livejournal.com profile] so_very_greedy)
Summary; Just as he gallantly offered two days previous, Greed takes Yuffie on a tour of the City, especially the bars and other places a innocent and sweet and awesome girl like her shouldn’t be in. Yuffie insists this is NOT a date. A challenge has been issued, and the Wutaian princess is set on mugging the homunculus before the night ends. Just because she so can. Madness, thus, ensues.
Log;

Yuffie waited for Greed on the stairs leading up to her building’s entrance. She looked down at her new green shirt, still impressed at how almost identical it was to the one she’d owned when she’d been fourteen. It was almost melancholy. Only not.

She leaned back, her elbows on some stairs above from where she sat, and looked at the sky to pass time. The ticking was starting to piss her off, so she hoped the man arrived quickly.

"I figured we'd hit the underbelly of the city, the Underground. Plenty of trouble to stir up there, and stealing is pretty much expected. Fun, indeed."

He bowed to her and turned no his heel.

"Think you can keep up if I run?"

Blinking at the sudden burst of speed, Greed soon took off after her. Unlike her simply using training and skill to nimbly move along, Greed's was based on pure leg power. Each step off put a small crack in the cement under his feet as he steadily caught up to her.

"A bit speedy, I see? Are all of you guys like that on your world?"

Greed moved over fences, hopped along posts, and scrambled across the sides of building with armored claws. The scenery got darker and darker as they progressed.

"Almost there," he said, jumping a small group of people and stopping at a threshold, "Stay in close. This is the Underground zone."

"Eh?" he said, sniffing the apple, "What for? We crossing a bridge?"

They dodged through several alleys and streets, eyes watching them from all around, even if most were out of view.

"Ah! Just up ahead. The large neon sign that says "The Dive"."

"It's a big club in the Underground. It's full of clubs. We're going in for some drinks, maybe a bit of food, and to see if we fleece some of the big time bosses in there for their hard earned money."

They reached the door and enter, walking past several large guards into the main entrance way. Loud music and bright lights assailed them as they walked forward to the bar.

"So what do you think? Good place to start?"

In order to provide them an alibi, Greed tapped the bar and ordered the waiter to bring them a platter of various appetizers. He also ordered a beer pitcher for himself.

"Need anything?" he said, "Just ask."

"It doesn't have to be alcoholic, ya' know," he said, cracking his neck, "They serve other stuff, too."

The orders were given and the food soon came back to the table. Greed took a long draught of his alcohol and a few slices of pepperoni from the tray.

"So, you got any marks lined up? I was aiming for that mob-boss lookin' guy," he whispered, pointing to a large gentleman in a suit, flanked by several smaller men in similar garb, "They're dressed nicer, so they have more money."

"Well, the huddle's over. Time to break and move," he said, quickly downing the rest of the contents of the pitcher and jumping off his stool.

"Good luck," he said, walking to the his target's table.

Greed, on the other hand, did not DO subtlety. He strolled up to the table and shuffled his way into the center of the men, looping arms over some of them.

From a distance, it couldn't be told what he said, but it obviously upset the men around him. They began to yell and argue, drawing gun and knives.

Greed laughed to himself about something and suddenly sprang up, bashing one man in the face. It triggered the other men to attack, creating a self-contained brawl at that table. Surprisingly enough, no one seemed to be taking notice as long as it stayed in that area.

Greed had several thugs already disarmed and on lock-down.

"Sup, babe! Good to see ya'!" he yelled, tossing several men away, "It's a free for all, your choice!"
