Summary: Hollow!Kensei wants to fight Hiyori
Log:

He paced the tunnel in the Underground with nervous energy.  He wanted to fight that bitch so bad he could almost taste her blood on his tongue.  He hadn't forgot how she had helped all that time ago, helped Kensei suppress him so that he was locked away to be used like a fuckin' battery.  She going to pay for that, he was going to beat her until fuckin' candy came out.

Heh, maybe I'll beat her until she can't do shit, keep her that way until her Hollow comes out.

He liked that idea, liked it a lot.  As much of a loner as he was, it would be nice to have an ally.  He knew that sooner or later the shinigami or someone would come after him and as strong as he was, he didn't think he could fight 'em all.  If he had to go though, it would be a hell of a lotta fun to kill as many of them as he could.

"C'mon little monkey!!!"  he shouted out in the tunnels, flaring his reiatsu again. "I'm gettin' kinda bored down here!!"

"Quit being stupid," he grumbled as he looked for something to staunch the bleeding. Unfortunately there was nothing nearby as his shirt was gone and his pants were filthy... and there was no way he was going to tear her shirt.

"Just hold still for a moment," Kensei told her. Reaching his hand out over his he allowed his meager skills in healing do what they could. It wouldn't heal the wound entirely, but at least it would slow the bleeding, if it didn't stop all together.

"You don't have t'apologize because I was stupid," he grunted. Kensei couldn't remember the last time he had a more awkward conversation than this, but it needed to be said. Hiyori had been nothing but a friend to him and he had treated her poorly and then been pissed when she called him out on it.

"I shouldn't have kept stuff from you," he admitted. "Or said all that stuff I did..."

"Shit, Kensei, don't try'n cover up my mistakes fer me," Hiyori grumbled, eyes closing as she tried her best to remain sitting up. "It'll just make me feel worse. I'm always bein' stupid."

The most worrisome part to her was the fact that Hiyori honestly didn't know if she could change. Probably couldn't, even.

"I don't deserve t'be part of the vai," she mumbled, body tilting from side to side before falling forward against him, familiar warmth barely registering in her voice by that point.

"S'okay, s'okay, these wounds... not as bad... as yers."

Hiyori could feel her fingers curl weakly into the fabric of his pants before everything began fading to black.

Seemed like she had been spending a lot of her time like that lately.

Hiyori's words stung, since he knew she felt like she didn't belong because of him, and that wasn't true at all. She belonged every bit as the rest of them, if not more.

"I told you not to say stupid shit," he told her as he reached down and scooped her up in his arms. Cradling her there for a moment with one arm in picked up both their zanpakutou and tucked them in his belt.

"Nobody leaves the vaizard," Kensei murmured to her. "You should know that..."

Carrying the girl gently in his arms, Kensei began to move out of the tunnels and back to their apartment. She would probably bitch at him later for it but he wasn't going to leave her side until she was better. Physically and... well, and in whatever other ways she was hurting.
