Log: Ongoing
When; July 2nd
Rating; G
Characters; Shirley Fenette([Bad username or site: refrainingly / @ livejournal.com]) and Kururugi Suzaku ([Bad username or site: suzaku_11 / @ livejournal.com])
Summary; Shirley has something on her mind and decided to talk to Suzaku about it, since he offers to listen to her.
Log;
Shirley was sitting down on a couch inside the apartment, caught up in her thoughts. Having agreed to talk to Suzaku a few days ago, she wasn't sure what to say to him when she was going to talk to him later today, despite how she was still troubled over the note she found which stated Lelouch was Zero.
From having no memory of it, it made her uncertain about its contents, which is why whenever she she has tried confronting Lelouch, she always failed to ask him about it. She figured that by talking to Suzaku, it might help her remember something or give her some idea of what to do.

He sat down beside the brunette, careful to keep a comfortable distance. Even if they were classmates and both members of the School Committee, Suzaku had to admit he didn't know very much about Shirley. In fact, now that he thought about it, Lelouch was the one closer to her. Why didn't...?
He cut himself off at that thought. No, he told himself, that isn't going to help. Right now, Shirley was upset over something and probably didn't think of going to Lelouch.
It could probably even concern Lelouch!
The thought came out of nowhere, but it somehow made sense. Weren't they so much closer before? Suzaku was suddenly... curious. However, even he knew that speculation would get him nowhere. First, listen to Shirley. That was his objective now.
"Is it about Lelouch, Shirley?" he asked first.
[ooc; Forgive my tenses, they are dead tonight :( and School Committee or School Council? Me cannot remember atm :(]

Before she even spoke, Suzaku's direct mention of Lelouch's name surprised her. He was right, of course, but she knew that by telling Suzaku about the contents of her note, it could possibly endanger the other.
She paused before answering Suzaku, deciding she would only indirectly talk about Lelouch and the whole situation to see what he thought about it. Although she wanted to find out the truth, she didn't want to cause any unnecessary trouble for Lelouch if the note turned out to be false.
"Lelouch?" Shirley shook her head, "No--I mean, it was before...but why would you automatically think it's about him?"
[ooc: I think mine are too, it's okay. Ahh. I think it's School Council, but whatever it's all good ♥]

"Nevermind... uh..." he laughed a bit. This was awkward. "I mean, it's nothing. I was just thinking of something completely different suddenly and- I'll just listen for now."
no subject
"Nothing? Okay, if you sure..." Shirley leaned back against the couch as she thought out loud "You know, it's kind of weird how you and everyone else keep saying that I'm good friends with Lelouch, but honestly I don't remember any of it, I'm not sure why either but it happened shortly after what happened with my father. Has anything like that ever happened to you..in that you forget something completely and have no recollection of it at all, even though you're supposed to?"

Suzaku couldn't tell Shirley about that. "I guess I have... Did you hit your head somewhere?" He asked sincerely.

She paused momentarily, before continuing to answer Suzaku's question "Oh...well I'm not sure. Lelouch thought the same thing when I asked him about it, actually...he thinks it's selective anmesia, but that doesn't seem to make any sense to me"

For a moment, he thought about how to respond to that and then he smiled reassuringly. "Lelouch is trustworthy, I'm sure of that. Have a little faith in him, I'm sure he has your best interests in mind... now about the memory problems... maybe we can ask someone for help for it? A really good doctor, maybe? I don't know anything about that but I'm sure there must be specialists out there for that kind of thing."

"Really? Ah, I'm sorry. You're probably right...you know him better than I do right now anyway. Are--the two of you good friends?" Shirley said, before responding to the other pay of Suzaku's statement "Yeah. I'll probably ask to see if there is someone here who knows about something like this"
no subject
"I'll help you look for one-" And then Suzaku had a thought- could it be? "Shirley, you just want to remember Lelouch again, don't you?" It made sense that she would be, Suzaku thought. If he forgot Lelouch or Nunnally like that and remembered everyone else, he'd feel guilty and want to remember everything about the forgotten person.

"I--yeah, I do want to remember him. I feel bad that he's the only person I don't remember" she nodded, "I tried to ask him about it and ask him about it, but he wouldn't tell me anything and said he it didn't matter anymore..."
