Log; Ongoing
When; Saturday, June 7th, evening-ish
Rating; PG-ish probably
Characters; Kisara [
bewd_girl] and Greed [
so_very_greedy]
Summary; Kisara agrees to go on a date with Greed. Why? Who knows.
Log;
Kisara was nervous.
Of course, she was nervous just by nature, but this was different. Sure, she'd been nervous before her date with Kira, but that hadn't been a real date. This was. It was slightly unnerving.
She sat down on her bed, stood, and sat again. This was just silly. She got up, smoothing the brown linen dress that was the nicest article of clothing she owned, and walked from one side of the small room to the other a few times. Finally, she sighed in exasperation, went to the door of her room, and peeked outside curiously.

"It tastes kind of funny.... I think Seto drank wine sometimes, but I was never allowed out of the dungeon to see."

"They kept you in a dungeon?!"

Kisara blinked.
"What's wrong with that?"

She frowned slightly, munching on another roll.
"Well, I guess I was there until I died. But that was only because Seto's father--oh, I'm rambling, aren't I?"

He refilled his drink as he listened to her.
"That all sounds kinda' lonely."

The statement was barely audible, almost to herself, and then she was back to normal and continued her explanation matter-of-factly.
"I suppose I should start at the beginning, then. See, everyone has a creature in their soul. Bad people have monsters, and good people have nice things. The reason I was in the dungeon in the first place was because mine is... apparently very powerful. The short version of the story is that Seto's father wanted to use it to beat Bakura's monster, so he put into a tablet... and I died."

"Oh, don't be angry at him! Seto is a very good person, really! I'm sorry, I should never have said anything...."

To say that none of it was his fault was a lie, she knew--it was Seto who'd told his father about her dragon to begin with--but that hardly mattered now.

"Ha ha! There we go, babe! That's the spirit! It's nice to see that you've got some fire in your blood, Ki-chan! Ya' shouldn't be so timid."
Greed ate up the last bits of his meal and sighed fitfully.
"Are you almost done with your food?"
no subject
Kisara blinked, her anger gone as quickly as it had come.
"Oh, and I'm sorry I got upset at you. Even if I shouldn't be as scared as I am, you didn't deserve it."
She looked sullenly at the now-empty wine glass and frowned slightly, suddenly realizing something.
"Hey, Greed? Is wine anything like beer?"

"Well, uh, when you drink too much beer you get drunk, right? But if you don't, you just feel funny.... Does that make sense?"

She smiled sheepishly and leaned back in her seat.
"Now what?"

"Not... affectionately, no."

"...So. Did...you want to give it a try?"
