Log; Ongoing
When; Saturday, June 7th, evening-ish
Rating; PG-ish probably
Characters; Kisara [
bewd_girl] and Greed [
so_very_greedy]
Summary; Kisara agrees to go on a date with Greed. Why? Who knows.
Log;
Kisara was nervous.
Of course, she was nervous just by nature, but this was different. Sure, she'd been nervous before her date with Kira, but that hadn't been a real date. This was. It was slightly unnerving.
She sat down on her bed, stood, and sat again. This was just silly. She got up, smoothing the brown linen dress that was the nicest article of clothing she owned, and walked from one side of the small room to the other a few times. Finally, she sighed in exasperation, went to the door of her room, and peeked outside curiously.

"Ah, hello! Good to see you! So, how are ya' doin'?" he asked, offering her a pleasant bouquet of roses, "Here, a present for you."
He bowed deeply to her and got to a knee for the offering.
no subject
"G-Greed! H-how did you--Oh!" She stopped, suddenly noticing the flowers and the manner in which Greed offered them. She tilted her head, a look of confusion crossing her features. "Flowers...? What--why?"
no subject
He rose to his feet and grasped her hand in his, then lifted it to kiss the top .
"You look stunningly gorgeous, tonight. Just as I assumed you would."
no subject
Stunningly gorgeous? Kisses to the hand? Flowers? None of it made sense to her. But Greed said it was customary, and she really didn't want to do something wrong. This sort of date obviously had many more rules to follow. How would she manage not to break them?
"Uh...."

"I know a nice little place. I'm sure you'll like the food! Top quality stuff!"
He dodged through a few alleys and ascended a building, scouting around, then slid down the side and took off westward. They soon came to a stop in front of a large sign with the figure of a great bull standing atop it.
"Ah ha! Here's the place. Let's go in, shall we?"
no subject
All the same, she found herself laughing softly.
"Could you... put me down now?" she asked, trying to stifle a chuckle. It had suddenly struck her as funny for her to say anything in this position, especially that question.

He set her down gently and escorted her into the building, where he was greeted by the hostess. They exchanged pleasantries and she checked her book of reservations, then lit up as she found his name.
"Right this way," she said, leading them on. They were soon seated with the menus in front of them. The place looked bigger inside than out. It was bustling with activity, which made it all the more impressive that they had managed to bet a quiet spot.
"Okay, Kisara, read the menu," he said, opening it for her, "Anything ya' want. This place has everything."
no subject
Kisara frowned at the menu, a sinking feeling in her gut. She could hardly read at all, let alone names of foods. She knew she liked pizza, but she'd no idea how to spell it, or even if this restaurant sold it.
Great. She'd made it this far only to mess up? He'd think she was stupid for certain, now. Well, there was no use hiding it.
"Greed...?" she asked, biting her lip. "C-could... could you read this for me?"
no subject
Greed grinned happily and whistled a small tune as he slid over to sit right next to her. He put an arm around her and showed her several pictures of meals and what they were.
"I'll just order for us both, then. What do ya' like? Somethin' sweet? Meat? Vegetables? Fish?"
no subject
She stared at Greed blankly, trying to comprehend what was going on.
"Uh... I don't know, really.... What do you think...?"
no subject
He curled his fingers in hers.
"You have really nice skin. Soft to the touch."
no subject
"Uh, thank you...?" she said uncertainly. "I, uh, mostly eat sandwiches here.... I d-don't really know wh-what I like o-other than that...."
no subject
He motioned to a waitress and made the order, than watched as she toddled off to fetch it. He turned his attention back to his date.
"So tell me about yourself, beautiful Kisara. Tell me about your world and it's people."
no subject
"I, uh.... That is, my world.... It's... uh...." She blinked. How was she expected to describe a desert?
"Hot?"
no subject
no subject
"We eat bread... and fish sometimes...."
no subject
He smiles as he sees the previous order approaching the table. Room was cleared as he graciously accepted the meal.
"Oooh, this looks good..."
A moment was taken to order rolls, then he took a bite of the meat.
"Damn! You gotta' take a bite!"
no subject
"But it's all red--mnf!" She clapped a hand over her mouth, horrified. She had complained. Surely that was unforgivable.
no subject
"...Well, I guess I can have half sent back and cooked. Yo! Server! Take care of this! Medium!"
The man hurriedly took care of Greed's order, then returned.
"Hell yeah! There we go. Is that better? Anything else?"
no subject
"Oh..." she said softly, more to herself than anyone else. "That's why...."
She looked up at Greed, offering a small smile. "I'm fine," she said, a little louder than normal. "Thank you."

"Really? Guess it's not an indigenous dish in your country. It's really good, though. Excellent taste. You need to broaden your horizons."
