Summary; Having nothing better to do, Bane and Eve decide to sparr once again.

Eve slowly made her way to the forest area where she and Bane had battled before. It was in a nice clearing, so they wouldn't have to worry about burning down anything. Atleast she hoped so.

At first, she wasn't very serious about Bane's challenge.. but now that Aya had arrived, she felt it would do good to become stronger and to let out some frustration. For once, she was thankful for having someone of equal power to fight against. And he'd make quite a suitable mate, as well.

Eve reached the clearing, she waited for Bane to arrive. But despite his warning/suggestion, she was wearing her favorite dress. Was she trying to mock him?.. or perhaps she had a little trick up her sleeve.

"Of course, we've been using them since we started," Bane replied. "The Force and your energy manipulation techniques are as much weapons as these blades," he said.

"Hm.. then I hope you don't mind this.." Eve giggled, a bone crunching, flesh ripping noise coming from over by a group of trees.

Out came a monstrous looking rat, about the size of a dog, and prehensile tail with three points at the end. The mutated rat roared and skittishly headed towards Bane.

"I could have liberated more animals," she said casually, "but that wouldn't be any fun."

Bane answered the rat's strange roar by lifting his hand and levitating the creature several feet above the ground. It's little feet flailed in the air in vain as Bane smirked up at Eve. "Weapons are one thing," he said, "allies are quite another." He clenched his fist and twisted his hand, and with a sickening crunch and a yelp of pain it's head twisted at a completely unnatural angle. He smiled up at Eve and, with a wave of his arm he hurled the corpse of the creature in her direction.

Eve crossed her arms, resting her chin on her hand and combusted the rat' corpse before it could hit her, "Those things were never very strong," She sighed.

"But you.. Your powers are amazing. To control things like that with your Force.." She began to descend, "I'm sure if you wanted to, you could twist my neck right now and be done with it, couldn't you?"

Bane watched her carefully, keeping an eye out for anything tricky she might try. "I could," he said, "though there are ways of negating the ability, if one is sensitive and knows how to do so." He smirked. "Besides, you have a lovely neck, I would hate to damage it if I didn't have to."

"Then again," he said, "I'm sure if you really wanted to, you could combust me the same way you did that corpse. Unless my abilities prevent that particular trick from working?"

"I'm flattered," Eve smiled, a few inches off the ground now. "My victims generally don't survive if they combust, whether it be a burnt corpse or completely melted away.. I don't think I have the heart to do that to you."

She looked down at the bruises and scrapes, wiping away some of the blood, "You are the only person, besides my sister, that has been able to injure me. I'm quite impressed."

The thought of making another Ultimate Being crossed her mind. With Bane's power.. Eve was certain it would be stronger than it was before. But it surely wouldn't last in this city..

"You don't have the hart? Somehow I doubt that," he said. "Thank you though," Bane said in that mocking tone again. "Not many people I've gone up against put up as much of a fight as you do."

Bane noticed a strange look on her face and reached out with the Force, trying to get a sense of her emotions. There was something odd there, though he couldn't put his finger on what. He held his arms out to his side, deactivating his blade for now. "Shall we continue? Or did you have something else in mind?"

"I'm going to have to decline on continuing. I'm sorry." She sighed, "I've become distracted with pointless thoughts."

"You win this round. If I had not started my idle chatter, I'm sure you would have cut me up with those blades."

"Very well then," Bane replied, "we shall save it for another time."

"I can tend to your wounds if you wish," he said. Why he said them he couldn't say, they merely came out before he could stop them.

"I will be alright," Eve smiled, "but thank you for the offer."

She moved away from Bane and liberated back into her human form. Although the injuries looked more severe, they were slowly beginning to heal. Slipping her dress back on, Eve decided it would be best to float back to the Opera House, rather than walking. She turned back towards Bane, "I'll need to strengthen my powers for our next fight."

When she had been covered in spikes, rubbery appendages and other such unsightly modifications, Bane had found it a simple matter to ignore her nudity and do what needed to be done. When she reverted, it was all he could do not to stare. Not bothering to hide it, he watched her dress, and it was all he could do not to simply take her right then and there. Patience, he thought to himself. There is a time and place for everything. "I look forward to the challenge," Bane replied.

"Take care." She waved her fingers playfully at him and floated off towards the city.
