Log;

He walked into the apartment quietly but let the door close audibly. Dark glanced around - no signs of Mai but definitely signs of her cleaning up. The covers that he had used while sleeping on the couch were nicely folded and the kitchen supplies were organized in a corner, rather than haphazardly like he had left them.

Dark shook his head but smiled softly. He had gotten messy since everyone else had left. It was good to have company back again.

He tossed away his blazer for a heavier jacket and knocked lightly at his closed bedroom door. "Mai? You ready?"

The door opened in response, and she stepped out looking vaguely nervous. It wasn't like she was scared of the other--nothing like that; it more along the lines of being generally wary of companionship. She didn't want to come across as some bratty child again, but she had gotten far too used to her front of anger and defiance. However, Mai would give it her best.

"Mm, whenever you are!"

Shocked wasn't even enough to describe her expression as she watched Dark pull off what seemed to her as suicidal move.

"...WHAT THE ARE YOU DOING? You better have survived that fall or...," she paused, trying to grasp the proper words, "...or I'm going to go down there and give your corpse one hell of a tirade."

"Eh? Are you an angel, Dark...?"

That means I called an angel a pervert--Well, crap.

A dubious look marked her features, as she folded her arms in her usual defiant stance.

"Jump out? You're the one who can fly here, not me! I'll end up smashed against the ground if I try it."

"Not an angel? Well that's a relief then! For a moment, I almost regretted accidentally calling you a pervert when we first met," she replied in obviously teasing tone.

"Alright, I'll jump then, but I swear - If you don't catch me, I'll definately come back as a ghost to haunt you."
