Summary; Because they got off to a slightly rocky start, Dark and Mai head over to eat dinner together and learn about each other's worlds.

He walked into the apartment quietly but let the door close audibly. Dark glanced around - no signs of Mai but definitely signs of her cleaning up. The covers that he had used while sleeping on the couch were nicely folded and the kitchen supplies were organized in a corner, rather than haphazardly like he had left them.

Dark shook his head but smiled softly. He had gotten messy since everyone else had left. It was good to have company back again.

He tossed away his blazer for a heavier jacket and knocked lightly at his closed bedroom door. "Mai? You ready?"

"Err, I'm not dead."

His head poked over the windowsill, flanked by large feathered black wings.

"As you might notice, I can fly. I'm not as reckless or stupid as you think. Besides, like I said, it's faster. Now jump out."

"Eh? Are you an angel, Dark...?"

That means I called an angel a pervert--Well, crap.

A dubious look marked her features, as she folded her arms in her usual defiant stance.

"Jump out? You're the one who can fly here, not me! I'll end up smashed against the ground if I try it."

Dark looked at her in mock outrage and pointed at the black wings. "Black! Not white! Does that match any descriptions of an angel to you? Just consider it perks of not being human."

He mimicked her stance in mid-air - arms folded - his wings beating slightly around him. "Yes, jump out. I'll catch you, obviously."

"Not an angel? Well that's a relief then! For a moment, I almost regretted accidentally calling you a pervert when we first met," she replied in obviously teasing tone.

"Alright, I'll jump then, but I swear - If you don't catch me, I'll definately come back as a ghost to haunt you."
