Summary; Beach in the City party is a go!! Wear pretty swimsuits and have a good time!

The City square is decorated like the beach. Of course there's so much sand at this point that Dawn only has to accessorize to prepare for the party. There are beach chairs and umbrellas, over-sized towels. Two slip-n-slides have been set up. There are several different sizes of water guns along with several kiddie pools scattered about. Beach balls are rolling around in the fountain area. There are a few kegs scattered about along with some coolers full of the 'special' kind of fruit punch.

One area is sectioned off for the band performance. Time Bomb will be performing a few sets during the evening in between the partying. The scene is set for a good time, so show up, mingle and have one!

[The trick is ridiculous amounts of plaid.]

We wouldn't want to knock out all the power in the downtown area. Anyway, this won't take long.

I used to think I'd make a really good stage hand since I do a lot of the behind the scenes stuff for my sister and all her little Slayerettes. And usually I'm really good with technology slash computer type stuff. But this is just too many wires. They should make wireless electric guitars that amps can pick up. Oh! You should invent that and be rich!

[She thinks her ideas are brilliant.]

They do, actually. They're just really expensive and the margin for error is kind of high. Plus, the wires make it rock and roll.

[This is Dawn's skeptical face. Although she supposes after knowing Oz she can see how the wires have to be there if just for the showiness of them. So after a bit, her skepticism melts into understanding.]

It's like how some vampires have those ridges on their forehead when they go all vamp face. What is that for? Nothing useful. Just to be showy and scary and all look and my forehead... right?

The only time I met a vampire I was kind of too busy passing out from bloodloss to really pay that much attention.

[Careful to step over the wires, Dawn moves closer to look over Stephen's shoulder at the amps and all the hook ups and just the general everything he's doing. She's always been the lack of personal space and get all up in everyone else's business sort of person.]

Yeah, you have to be quick and stealthy to get out of their way and get the upperhand. Or you have to be super lucky. Sometimes I just luck into things. But my sister could teach you how to fight them. She's good at the teaching.

I don't think I've ever been quick, stealthy, or lucky. I'd rather just avoid them if at all possible. We don't really do vampires back in my home.

Oh, that sounds kind of boring. Sometimes I wish for boredom. Then I get boredom and I get all restless. Buffy keeps trying to pass off this normal life thing on me but she never gets that normal just isn't a thing with us.

[She reaches down and points to one of the knobs on the amp. And yes, she's about to turn it to see if anything happens.] What's this do?
