Summary; Beach in the City party is a go!! Wear pretty swimsuits and have a good time!

The City square is decorated like the beach. Of course there's so much sand at this point that Dawn only has to accessorize to prepare for the party. There are beach chairs and umbrellas, over-sized towels. Two slip-n-slides have been set up. There are several different sizes of water guns along with several kiddie pools scattered about. Beach balls are rolling around in the fountain area. There are a few kegs scattered about along with some coolers full of the 'special' kind of fruit punch.

One area is sectioned off for the band performance. Time Bomb will be performing a few sets during the evening in between the partying. The scene is set for a good time, so show up, mingle and have one!

There's no way Buffy isn't attending her little sister's beach party. She was actually in charge of the giant slip-n-slides. She's dressed appropriately and is carrying a red cup with the special punch around. Really she's just enjoying the whole 'at the beach' feeling.

[Dulcie shows up fairly early, looking ready to party. She grabs a beer and a beach chair and starts taking in the awesome view. Dancing will come later.]

[Stephen shows up a bit before the party to help set up equipment and do a sound check. He's decked out in his new bathing suit from the last curse, although he's gone for a shirt this time. He's not doing badly in terms of pre-show jitters. Although he'll be very excited for when it starts already.]

Dawn is here and there and everywhere at the party, both making sure things are going smoothly and having a good time for herself. She's wearing a cute two piece pink polka-dot bikini. It's new and her first time wearing it. Feel free to run into her!

Dawn bounds over to her sister and wraps her arms around her in a tight hug. She's wearing a pink polka-dot ruffled bikini and thinks she looks good too. Not as good as the other day when she was made to think she was awesome looking, but the regular kind of looking good. "Hey, Buffy! Thank you for wearing clothes. You look good in clothes, swimsuits even!"

[For some reason, Dulcie is always easy to spot for Dawn. It's not like she stalks her or anything. It's just that the angel stands out, okay? In any case, Dawn eventually makes her way over to her friend in her new bikini and smiles brightly.]

Dulcie! That swimsuit is so super cool on you. You look all retro chic in it. I mean if I were a clothes person I'd say retro chic. Why do you look good in everything? It isn't fair!

[Why is Stephen always so cool looking? Dawn wonders this a she stands back a safe distance and watches him set up the equipment. Her hands are on her hips and she's watching quietly for several moments before she speaks up.]

I'd offer to help but I might plug the wrong thing into the wrong thing. Cause there are a lot of things there where wrong things could happen. It's like a hedge maze of possible wrongness.

Derek spots Buffy from afar and makes sure she isn't busy with anyone before he makes his way over to her. He isn't always much for parties but he is one for the beach and he couldn't really turn away from this idea. So he's there, and he smiles when he catches Buffy's line of sight and gives her a hug when he reaches her. "Hey. Guess it's good to do something positive with all the sand, right?"

Buffy hugs back tightly, sticking her tongue out at her sister when she pulls away. She's flushed red with some left over embarrassment.

"They can't all be naked days. Thank the Powers that Be."

Buffy hugs back and smiles at him. "Definitely. If we've got to have everything sandy, I say we party. How are you?"

There should be lots of left over embarrassment that comes with nakedness in front of the whole city. Dawn will make sure she doesn't forget it for quite some time as any good little sister would do. "Swimsuit days are better than naked days anyway. They show just enough skin to be all wow but hide enough to leave something to the imagination. And we all know that imagination is a good thing!"

"Doing better. Thanks. I'm at a party so it can't be all that bad." His arms cross over his chest as he tilts his head curiously in her direction. "How about you?"

Buffy bites her lips and glances around. "I'm not bad. Like you said, party. There's not a lot of bad there. Have you tried the slip-n-slide yet? I personally recommend them."

Buffy wouldn't expect anything less. "Right and how better to leave things to the imagination than just forget that naked days ever happen."

His gaze slips down to her chest and back up to meet her eyes with a hint of flirtatious amusement sparkling in them. "You're telling me you kept that all where it should be while sliding down one of those things? You might have to do some proving there, sweetheart."

Dean is there mostly because Dawn is throwing the party but he's not above scoping out some of the girls in bikinis. He'll be by one of the kegs with a cup of beer. He's not dressed for the beach. He's wearing jeans, boots and a tee shirt. Come bother him.

"I'll do some forgetting for now. But only because you did awesome with the slip-and-slides. I still have to try them out but they look fun anyway." Dawn is looking around the party, watching to see if anything needs her attention. "Besides, my boobs were practically hanging out of my dress, according to some people."

"Hey, Squirt."

Nope. Not wearing a swimsuit. Just jeans and a tee shirt. He's there though. That counts, right?

Any kind of attention counts better than no attention at all! Dawn squeals when she sees him just cause she's put both Dean and Sam on her list of things to do in the 'make them smile now and then' category. She bounces over to him and wraps him in a hug. "You came! I knew you wouldn't pass up a girls in bikinis party." Because lets be honest, that's exactly what this is to Dean and anyone who knows him knows that.

She is going to blush pink when he does that. It has not escaped her notice that Derek is a total hottie. "I have very good coping skills where that's concerned. I'll be happy to do some proving."

"Yeah. It was pretty...out there. Not that I have room to talk but it's a curse I'd rather not repeat."

Buffy is pretty much just enjoying the party.

She knows him so well. He hugs her back tightly with a grin, lifting her off her feet and setting her back down.

"Wouldn't let you down like that."

That surprises him, not that she blushes because he was aiming for that. But what surprises him is her willingness to take up his challenge. It shouldn't surprise him because Buffy has never been one to back down that he's known of. But sometimes he forgets that Buffy isn't just your average girl... that she's something more. "Well then lets go. I'll even hold your drink for you."

"Maybe the deities got their fill of that one with all the nakedness and show-off-y-ness of people and we'll never have to do that one again." Dawn can hope, right? She grabs Buffy's hand in hers and starts off toward the fountain with its many sprouts that shoot water up into the air from the ground. "Wanna run through the sprinklers with me?"

"Yes, I did this all for you." She tries to hold a straight face as she leans back to look up at him. But then she fails and laughs a little, shaking her head. "Okay so maybe not just for you but I did think of you when I decided to get a few kegs, okay? So you have to have some of the beer because if you don't, I'm really good with a water gun."
