Incomplete
When; Before the monster plot
Rating; pg
Characters; Artemis and The Doctor (four)
Summary; Artemis and The Doctor get together to compare notes and technology. Much apologies to Artemismun for the lateness.
Log; The Doctor, or rather the fourth incarnation of the man; was sitting in a corner booth, legs on the booth across from him and hat tipped down over his face. He was doing his best not to think on matters; though he knew he would have to sooner or later. Now just wasn't the sooner.
Romana's do sat next to him, his arm slung over the puppy as if it were K9 himself. As for the computer, it sat on the ground scanning the room. He had given him the specifics that they knew of this boy and of course, he would alert him to the presence. Till then he thought he'd have a nice nap.

There was his tenth regeneration he supposed. Oh hell, then he'd be what, an uncle? That just sounded odd. An uncle to one's self. No, it wasn't right. Neither of them could have children. Rubbish, complete rubbish.
When he heard the question from the boy he was more then thankful. You think about something like that for too long your brain was bound to implode. In reply however, he just smiled and tapped his finger to his nose. It was a secret. Besides; explaining the TARDIS was a bit difficult - you had to see it.
"Come along K9, mustn't dawdle." He started swiftly towards the TARDIS, Romana's dog, K9 and he rather hoped Artemis in tow. There was a slight pause as he looked back to the boy. "Do you make a good cup of tea?"

Keeping up with the man was easier than Artemis expected even if he did feel a slight strain on his lungs. He really should think about getting in better shape. This was just ridiculous. However, once Butler arrived he wouldn't have to worry about that.
Strange that he still believed the man would arrive. Though, it was understandable. On the other hand, maybe he did rely on him a bit too heavily. That didn't stop him from wanting his companion...
He was pulled from his own thoughts by the Doctor's question. "I am afraid you would not like anything that resulted me doing things in the kitchen. I have never cooked for myself before. Butler has always done that for me.

He fumbled a bit, checking pockets - of which he had several, until he pulled out a key. He used it to unlock the box and gesture the boy inside the TARDIS.

Once the door was unlocked, he didn't even bother hesitating as he stepped inside. Curiosity...he should probably learn to keep that in check.

However, the thing that probably attracted Artemis' attention lay in the middle of the room. This was the control console used to fly, navigate, and do all other things regarding the TARDIS. There was, of course, the way to the other rooms within the 'call box', but the heart of all things was that console.
The Doctor casually tossed his hat onto the rack and buried his hands in his pockets once again. "Welcome to my TARDIS." Oh he enjoyed that expression. It'd been too long. Shame the boy couldn't make a decent cup of tea.

"The TARDIS. Wonderful..." he said with his voice filled with admiration. If wasn't for the fact that he might consider it demeaning, he would have learned to make decent tea. There was only so much he was willing to do though.
"To fit all of this into such a small space. I have seen something similar but never to this extent."
