Log [In progress]
When; May 4, 2008
Rating; PG-13 (I always go with this to be safe)
Characters; Waverly and Mat
Summary; Waverly returns from her errands to a hung over Mat. (The muns aren't quite sure how this is going to go. Hell, the muses aren't sure how it's going to go.)
Log;
She wasn't trying to hide anything. It was probably the twelfth time she'd told herself this. It was a complete lie. She knew she was hiding as much as she could. The words had slipped out without her even thinking. Being forced, it was something that was a natural unpleasantness by now. Or had been.
All the forced companions and wandering hands had stopped many years ago. None of that had occurred since she left that life and betrayed everyone. Rachel, she'd probably ruined Rachael's life. Who knew what her father had done to her. She tried not to think about what had happened to those she left at home, but sometimes it crossed her mind. Sometimes in the dreams ...
She pushed open the door, her sleeves looking horribly dingy as well as the rest of her. Hair scattered out of her ponytail and face darkened by unidentifiable dirt. It had been a long day, and she didn't expect it to be over. Not after what she had said. She picked the door closed with her foot and set what she carried down, resting her body against the door to take in a few calming breaths.

Running he hand through his still wet hair, he heard the door open and close. Waverly must be home now. But walking made the room spin... Sighing, he decided he should anyways and carefully sat up. Blinking his eyes a few times, Mat groaned quietly before moving to stand up and go to the door.
He stopped short. Even messy she still managed to look attractive...How she pulled that off he would never know. Squeezing his eyes shut for a moment, he took a deep breath before whispering a short "Welcome back" to her.

The idea of him alone all day with no one to help worried her. Though she supposed that people had been dealing with this sort of thing long before he had been. "Sit."

Rubbing his temples he looked up at her with blurry eyes. Hangovers were why he usually didn't get drunk. Why he avoided it like the plague. But last night had been different and he had enjoyed himself at the time.

"Have you had anything other then tea?" She didn't yell, but her voice was louder so as to reach the living room from the kitchen. She'd already started pulling out the loose leaf.

Keeping his eyes closed, he laid back again. He was never going to drink again. No...he would but burn him if he got drunk any time soon!

If she ever saw her again, she would have to thank Brittany for all this.
She made her way into the living room and offered the medication. "Take this and drink the whole glass. I'm boiling you some tea that should help too." Part of her mind hoped that he was in such a state that he would forget all about what she had said before.

Still just as dirty with a frazzled look to her hair. What she was covered in though was beyond him and he decided he'd rather not know.

Shower, right, that would help, if he could stand long enough that is. "Have you tried a hot shower?"
no subject
Maybe a bath instead. Having only had a bite of something to eat earlier due to his head pounding, he was wobbly on his feet. Looking her over again, he frowned. "You need one too."
no subject
She'd almost forgotten about the tea. She made her way into the kitchen only to return to the room with a steaming mug of tea. Sugar already in it. She handed it to him carefully. "It's hot. Just breathe in the steal till it cools."

"Go take a shower." He gave her a half smile. "I'm a man now. I can take care of myself bloody foolish self."
no subject
She couldn't say she didn't like the idea. After all, she would be hard pressed to admit that she was fully grown herself.
no subject
"Now go take a bloody shower. I'm not going anywhere."

Still, she was completely oblivious to this thought as she dried herself off and threw on her robe. Drying off her hair she went and changed into her room. Sweats. She needed comfort after today.
She was braiding her hair in twin braids as she came out into the room again. Tilting her head to looked at him she raised her eyebrows. "Feeling any better?"
no subject
Once she was there then he could hold her to keep her from escaping. Not the most gentlemanly thing to do but worth it.
"Thank you."

He really had looked worrisome, but many did when in that state of the morning after.

Then he let his face grow serious. Looking up at her, he wondered how to start this before deciding to just start. "Did they hurt you?"
