Summary; Narnian Pizza
Log;
After setting up the arrangements with Caspian, Tosh headed out for her third 'meal date' of the day, shaking her head in bemusement at how oddly these things seemed to schedule themselves. She'd anticipated a silent day around the flat, and instead had spent most of her time out with friends. Which was nice, and desperately needed. Now, she stood outside the door of the pub, leaning against the wall as she waited for her guests to arrive.

She wasn't rotting, so... Caspian had also failed to tell Peter that she was, well, dead. That was because she didn't look nor act like what Caspian considered dead, and both Narnians had seen dead before. He took another gulp of his beer, when finally, he admitted.
"I think I may have to slow myself.."

After hearing Caspian's admittance, Peter turned to glance at the other. "Already?" Of course, it was just a front. Peter was about to give up, if he hadn't already.

Another shrug, and then Tosh hid an amused grin behind a drink. "Might not be a bad plan for us to all stop. Unless you two want to have to carry me home."

"I have seen such words on the... the network," Caspian nodded to Tosh, "but not with my own eyes. After this, I would still be unable to tell the difference, Toshiko." He smiled, "I would not mind, unless you do."
no subject
"I don't mind." Peter said with a small grin.

Yeah, that was just a little bit of a jibe over the tipsiness she'd picked up on.

"What do we owe? And it would only be right to walk you back to your home, Toshiko. I barely knew my mother."
Off handed remarks were best left just like that, off hand and easily dismissable.

It's a compliment really, don't mind him. He'd already forgotten about age and mothers and then he remembered to actually stand. Fortunately he managed to do so without any shaking steps. "Next time I hope that you will leave payment to someone else," said Caspian.

Peter followed Caspian and stood, wobbling only slightly.

Noticing the wobbling, she asked, "Uh, which building are you two in?"
no subject
Oh she was being smart again. Caspian gave the address for the front entrance of the buildings where they lived. He steadied himself then stood up straight, 6'0 for a boy of sixteen or so, but it was obvious he didn't hold his liquor like a good old pub-touring bloke.

"After you, Toshiko." Peter said easily, ever the gentleman.
no subject
"I'm just down the block from you," she said, intending to part ways at the corner and deal with the repercussions later, when they managed to find out the location of the mini-Hub. "And I'll hold you to that, so don't forget. Since I picked pizza, you two even get to decide where to go."
A thank-you nod to Peter, and she headed out into the street, at a leisurely pace she figured they could keep up with and not stumble over their feet.
no subject
"Oh, that is convenient..." he remarked without questioning the coincidence. He followed after her, matching Peter's gentlemanly conduct, or as much of it as he could while feeling warm. Caspian didn't stumble at least, and his steps were slow to keep his head from going too light.

Even after three beers, Peter managed to walk carefully down the streets, making sure to stay slightly in front of Caspian.

Tosh watched the two of them, and then decided she could forestall any possible stumbling or weaving into each other by putting herself between Peter and Caspian and slipping an arm through each of the theirs. Just a friendly way to walk a girl home, right?

"We can add that place to the list," Caspian commented with a nod, regarding the pub as one of the places they could now say they both frequented.
A couple blocks more, some long and some short, got them to a corner down from the address Caspian had given her.
no subject
"Definitely." Peter said, giving a few vigorous nods of agreement. "You should come over to our place once in a while too. We're always open to company."
no subject
"Thank you, maybe I'll do that. And you two should come by and visit us. Play basketball or have breakfast and some of Ianto's famous coffee. We've always got people coming and going."
She stopped at the corner, and pointed in the direction she intended to go. "I'm not much further, no point in you having to circle back around. Thank you for coming out with me today."
no subject
"Believe me, Toshiko. It was a pleasure," he smiled, stopping delink so that she could walk at her leisure.
no subject
"Be careful." Peter added as an afterthought, as he held his hand out for Toshiko to shake.

"A fair eve to you, Toshiko," Caspian wished her with another smile and a halfway bow.
