Lux was decorated and ready to go. It was just waiting a certain birthday girl and her friends.

It's... really nice to be hugged like that and he returns the favor, in a one-armed keeping-the-flowers-safe kind of way.

"Was Tosh surprised?" He looks around at the people, not that he knows who he's looking for. It's more than another Friday night at Lux, though. That much is certain.

"Yes. I brought her over not that long ago. She had no idea!"

Turning, she points to an oriental woman talking with her friends. "She's over there. Oh! Did you bring her flowers? Those are so pretty!"

Tosh is very pretty, and she's busy and smiling and all those good things that birthday girls are supposed to be. "I did." The stems are in those little pod things that keep flowers fresh because... no one wants to have to keep track of flowers in vases, especially when they're from strangers.

"Will you do me a favor and give them to her for me? I have to get to work."

Reaching her hands out, she takes the flowers and smells them. "Oh, they smell good too. I'll make sure she gets them."

He's not shy; he'd love to stay and mingle. But work comes first and there is a routine to it, a comfort, and it helps to balance out everything else.

"I'll see you between sets. Have fun, all right? Keep the birthday girl either out of or in trouble, whichever makes more sense." Laughing, he gives her arm a little squeeze before he heads off.
