Lux was decorated and ready to go. It was just waiting a certain birthday girl and her friends.

It didn't take Gwen too long to cart all the mystery pizzas to Lux, and as soon as they were settled, she peeked in on Ianto.

"She's not here yet?"

He looked up from setting out the chairs.

"Not yet. Abby's bringing her here later once there's more people so it'll be a surprise."

Tosh waved and smiled at Gwen from across the room. "You lot are all...mad and fabulous."

[He ducks in briefly, looking somewhat of a mess. His hair is tied back and his face shows the wear of a hard day's work on the Black Swann. The flowers in his hand however are quite fresh!]

Hi there. You here for Tosh's party?

"Caspian!" Tosh grinned at him as Ianto ushered her in toward the gathered guests. "You look as though you've had quite a day?"

At some point, Jack blew through the door like a whirlwind. All his banners flying as the saying went, coat billowing behind him as he strode through Lux with a beaming smile on his face.

"Well then! Where's the girl of the hour?"

Yet another masterful grand entrance, as made by the masterful Captain Jack.

"Not here, yet," Ianto called from a back room, someplace.

Look out Jack, you're about to pounced by the girl of the hour, who was starting to feel a little punchy over the whole birthday party idea. "Jack!"

When Tosh was accosted by Abby at the amusement park and dragged down to the Lux, she assumed Gren must be having a set and Abby wanted company. A more suspicious person might have wondered if there was something else going on, but Tosh was not that person.

So when she came through the door and saw the decorations and people, she looked around in confusion.

"Hi...Ianto? Is there some kind of party going on?"

Looking up from what he was doing, Ianto grinned.

"Didn't you know it's someone's birthday, today?"

And success! Abby had done as she was told and Tosh was there. Dragging her from the amusement park had been interesting but when it came to things like this...well, she was good at what she did.

Once things had been revealed to Tosh, she sought Abby out again and hugged her. "Thank you. I should have known bumping into you wasn't an accident."

Seeing Abby, Ianto waved at her from across the room.

He doesn't know Tosh, but that hasn't stopped him from showing up with a large bouquet of flowers for her because... it's her birthday and he told Abby he'd have a present, and who doesn't like flowers? So he stops by on his way backstage; it's a work night after all.

"Hi. This place looks great."

So does Abby: she's as adorable as ever.

Luke was a little late - things had been busy lately - but he wasn't going to miss Tosh's party. He stepped inside, looking around at the decorations, a smile on his face.

Tosh had been there long enough to get used to the idea of it being a birthday party, for her even, and she summarily pounced Luke the way she'd pounced Jack. Or, well, the way she'd tried to pounce Jack and been thwarted by the Jack Harkness bear hug.

Gwen spotted Luke and aimed a cheery wave at him, beaming at how well things were going.

George showed up a little bit late, having only heard of the party through her usual obtuse channels and unsure if she'd be intruding on something private. Fortunately, there were plenty of people there to mask her entrance by the time she got there, changed out of her usual office-wear suit and into a nice top and jeans. She hadn't been able to come up with much of a present for her relatively new coworker, but she'd offer her congratulations all the same.

George was definitely welcome at Tosh's party! Tosh smiled, looking just a little bit amazed at the group assembling itself, and walked over.

"I have sneaky friends."

When not needed in the main bar, Ishiah hovered around the edges of the room and kept an eye on the gathering. Even without his wings visible, hovering happened to be a particular talent.

Tosh noticed the hovering figure, and headed straight over, planning to hug him whether he liked it or not.

And she hadn't even been drinking anything yet.

"Obviously you're involved in this somehow."

Once Dawn caught sight of Tosh, she hurried over, small, gaily wrapped box in hand, the necklace (http://pics.livejournal.com/tothelibrary/pic/00001gpd/g1) she got for Tosh resting inside the bright packaging. (The ribbon has sparkles, even!)

"Happy birthday, Tosh!"

She gathered Tosh into a hug before she could even speak; just squeezed her tight then then stepped back, grinning, and held out the box.

"For you!"

Tosh's initial reply was cut off by the embrace, but she hugged Dawn back, and smiled brightly when Dawn moved away.

"Thank you! I know you had to have been in on this, right?" She took the box, unwrapping it and then looking up again with another wide-eyed grin. "Oh Dawn, you shouldn't have! This is gorgeous!"

O hay, Tosh's party, how you doin'? She's a bit late due to business that is decidedly less important than celebrations, but Leia enters quietly regardless of the time, looking for birthday girls to surprise.

And look, there was a birthday girl in need of surprising right there! Wearing a huge smile on her face and looking just slightly overwhelmed, but obviously loving every minute of it.

Tony wasn't entirely sure about this party. Not that he didn't want Tosh to have a great time but because he really didn't know her friends that well. It was awkward being close to someone but not close to the people they were close to. Still, it was her birthday and Tony was going to do everything he could to make sure she had a wonderful time.

Well, if Tosh could manage it, Tony would have the chance to get to know her friends a little better.

She spotted him across the room and rushed over, face a little flushed from the excitement, and threw her arms around his neck. "I am so glad you came!"
