MOON FESTIVAL; OPEN LOG
When; September 14th, evening
Rating; G-PG
Characters; Tianzi [
justasystem], Xing-ke [
againstasystem], and anyone invited, or who wants to show up!
Summary; Preparations for the Moon Festival, complete! Open to anyone invited or looking for a nice evening.
Log;
This was something familiar, though she herself had never taken part in the preparations. The moon festival was always a big celebration in the Chinese Federations' capital, and Luoyang was always decked in an army of brightly colored lanterns. So she'd gotten some hung up in the trees, (not that she could reach them by herself), and they did make her smile. It wasn't the same as in the capitol, but that was why she liked it. The Outside world.
A full moon, it was perfect, right, and no clouds...
"How beautiful..." The small Empress murmured, head tipping back to look up. A mooncake in her hand, half eaten. People would come, and it would be a good time, she was sure. She had even tried hard to make one without eggs. It wouldn't be good, to not be able to eat a mooncake today. Not with as many friends were here and would come.
[ooc; open to everyone, as said, and if you want to address a certain person, just label it, otherwise, I'll probably tag you, or someone else will! Hopefully this can be fun, mm? ♥ And if you aren't much for logging, you can assume your character was here.]

"It's nice, isn't it? Do you think it's different here than it is back in China?"
no subject
"I think the moon is still the same." The Tianzi finally said, small feet kicking a little where she sat, toes touching before retreating, then touching again, idly moving back thick silver hair from her face.
"It's just everything else that's different, right? In the Outside World? But the moon is still the same, everywhere you go."

The stories and folklore were always different, no matter how unified the world was. How much the Tianzi had heard, he did not know. There was one thing that always came to mind when he saw the moon.
"Do you actually think there is a woman on the moon?"
no subject
"I don't think she could be up there so long. But... I think it's a really nice story." She looked over at his hand, bit her lip a little.
"... does it taste bad?" She'd tried her best, and she was certain some of them wouldn't taste as good, but... she hadn't burned them!

"Xing-Ke," he said the other man's name coolly. Caspian was dressed with blade and dagger, assuming they were not asked to remove their arms.

"Are you the jade rabbit?" She whispered, crouching down a bit more, slowly.

It was lovely, and new, and different, and Lucy was excited.

"I don't think we've ever been to a party like this before. It is quite lovely." Peter remarked, glancing up at the lanterns and decorations.

So that is a mooncake.
[Stare. He has one in his hand. To bite or not to bite.]

These are peculiar cakes. What's in them?
[Just as puzzled as Caspian.]
They must be sweet if they're called cakes.
[Here goes a bite.]
