When; Early Sunday morning
Rating; PG-13...nothing too explicit.
Characters;
alessalearnt Alessa &
theneweve open to
redhorror Pyramid Head (if he wants)
Summary; Lily/Lucy/Nyuu and Alessa bond over snow angels. P-head may or may not show up to color the snow.
Log;
Night. Sweet, sweet night. Alessa felt at peace for once, standing on the steps of the cathedral The snow fell slowly and silently in rivulets, and she took it in. Silence....snow covering everything like the ash back home. Home...what a funny word, she thought. Silent Hill wasn't home so much as it was Alessa. She wondered how it was faring without her to nurture it.
She sat on a stone step, and looked up at the sky. Stars twinkled overhead, and the moon gazed down coldly. 'Starlight, star bright, first star I see tonight,' she began, the old nursery rhyme slipping off of her tongue. 'Wish I may, wish I might, have this wish I wish tonight. I wish...'
She paused. What did she wish for? She wasn't sure. She used to be, but...not anymore.

This snow, this cold, looked like fun.
She was not even bothered by all the cheerfulness of snowball fights and giddy excitement anymore. There was no envy, not like before, that left a relieving peace inside her tormented spirit.
Clothed with a green sweater, black trousers and a red hat with matching gloves, Lucy exited the Cathedral with extreme care to walk on the slippery floor. The least she wanted to do was trip and hit her head. Nyuu wasn’t going to have fun now, it was her turn.
“Alessa,” Lucy greeted the younger-looking girl with a smile. She rubbed her gloved hands together and watched with fascination as her warm breathing turned into steam. “You said something about snow angels?”

She studied Lucy with curiosity. It's almost as if she's never been in snow before... she thought. A quick mental look into her mind said it was so. How odd.

“N-No,” she admitted, casting her look down then lifted her chin, shaking that pathetic feeling away. “But you do. So if you tell me, I can do it too.”
She felt the mental tug, red eyes widening slightly. She did not know what was it but Nyuu and her active diclonius side also sensed it.
“So uhmm, start?” She looked around for her Guardian. It wasn’t a pleasant looking fellow but Lucy did not mind him around as much. Must be for the same reason she liked Rosiel.

'Come along,' she said, leading Lucy down the stairs to where the ground was covered in snow. "We lay down on our backs, like this." Alessa laid down, the snow soaking her black hair and blue dress. The sky looked even more beautiful from this view, and she smiled at the sight.

Nor would the ones she chose to defend.
“Are you worried about wandering about without your guardian?” asked Lucy, reluctantly copying the other girl’s motions, laying down on her back. It was soft and cold to stay there and the sky looked dazzling.
The frost bit her ears but she did not feel it as unpleasant. In her imprisonment, they had tested extreme temperature on her system and she could resist that low with ease.

"I don't know," she answered truthfully. "I was much more worried when I was wandering around back home and he wasn't there. Oh, he came back, of course, and I assumed he had just been lost or busy, but then he went missing again. So I searched for him, and came here as a result. I was surprised to see that many of my servants were here already.
"There are people back home who would harm me," she explained. "Everyone here seems wary of me so far; they can sense my power and their instinct is to accept and avoid it if possible, not use it for their own gain or see it as a threat. If anyone tried otherwise, they would die." She finished gravely. She was protected by a god. No one could harm her.
he did not tell Lucy of Pyramid Head's betrayal. That was something she would keep to herself forever. Can't believe he would...
Without warning, Xulchibara's voice roared in her head, and it was as though he were ranting and raving right next to her. This was one f the first times he had done this since arriving at the City. Usually their correspondence was daily, but Xulchibara had seemed content to watch things develop on their own. Now his cold voice deafened her ears and her eyes glazed over somewhat as she let Him speak to her and allowed Him to get whatever it was out of his system. The roar died down, and she felt comforted. The words "Blood oath" echoed in her mind. ...I see. Thank you, she murmured silently to the God. His messages were confusing and mangled, but important key words remained fresh in her mind, like now. She blinked, realizing that she was still on the ground and Lucy was waiting for her to teach her how to make a snow angel.
"Now that we are on our backs, we move our arms up and down, while our legs open and close, like this." Alessa showed herhow to move her arms and legs slowly, so that way the young woman could get the hang of it. The cold wetness of the snow felt good on her hands.

When all had fallen black, the cawing birds having fled, the monster stood upon the slow, gentle bits of white drifting past his bloodied frame.

BLOODOATH. He is still yours HEWILLTAKETHEBLOODOATH. She sighed. The god wasn't going to stop until He was satisfied that this unseen change in His chess game was set back to rights. The snow was going to be painted red soon. And when she had her Red Angel back, she would reward him. There were two nurses she had shut in one of the rooms of the church, and she knew he would do with them as he wished. And then, they would go and punish the guilty ones. They would give him a new coat of blood. This foreign angel cannot take him from me. No.

“I’m a powerful magician. I’ll keep us both safe! Promise!”
But that girl died, she had been killed when those bastards tried to capture Lucy. She could not forgive herself from being so weak. After that, she killed without hesitation on sight, before they would harm her or the people she liked.
Open my legs and arms, Lucy thought, closing her eyes. “Okay.” She extended her arms – all of them even the vectors- mimicking Alessa’s motions. It was relaxing, her thoughts drifted from a childhood she couldn’t enjoy for long but that was interrupted, she caught the smell of dried blood in the fresh breeze.
“Your guardian?”

Why did you leave me?

She could hear his thoughts perfectly, but she could sense his urge to kill something. He was angry, confused, hurt. If she didn't find something for him, he might go on a rampage, and that would only anger the citizens of the town and cause them to turn against her. Silently, she called to one of her servants. A Patient Demon plowed through the snow towards them, its twisted legs twitching as it made its way through the snow, its pulsing center emitting small gushes of black acid that melted the snow it touched. She inclined her head towards the approaching servant. 'Your ink has arrived,' she murmured. 'More are on their way,' she told him.
The tension hung in the air between them, and she could sense Xulchibara's presence. She could not see Him, but she knew He was there. The God was watching intently with patience, '...You may leave if you choose to,' Alessa murmured to her female companion. 'If you are uncomfortable with confrontations, then you may leave. If not, you may remain. We have unfinished business to deal with between us, he and I.'

The one she did looked to have more than a pair of “wings” and were rather long - her vectors doing no mistake.
“I’ll stay,” proclaimed Lucy, crossing her arms, unaffected by the way her clothes and hair were covered with snow. “I’m not shy to violence.”

After a moment of this grisly art form, he stopped, standing above the crimson writing of the words "Order me?"

'Even now...when you swore your allegiance to him?' she demanded, pointing at the church behind her. 'How could you???? I searched and searched....Silent Hill would probably have been a mere pile of rubble if I hadn't found my way here! I did not mean to leave you alone! I was scared too. So scared...so alone...' Her dark eyes gleamed with her tears, pain, and the strange bond she had with her protector.
'YOU ARE ALL I HAVE!!!' She screamed at him. 'MY MOTHER...YOU KNOW WHAT SHE DID TO ME! CLAUDIA IS DEAD, AND HEATHER....oh, beloved Heather...I could not bear to draw her into this! No, she must be happy, she must live without knowing of any of...of this! I WILL NOT ALLOW A SICK, DERANGED ANGEL TO TAKE YOU AWAY FROM ME!' Her shoulders heaved, and she wiped the tears from her cheeks furiously. Her anger was gone now. There was only hurt.
'....I came here for you. You...you are all I have,' she said again, quietly. God, why wouldn't the tears stop coming?

Then Alessa started her outburst towards the demon. She understood the girl’s frustration but lacked a strong empathy to develop compassion and pity (Nyuu had plenty of those, not Lucy).
Her insult to her ‘uncle’ made the diclonius frown and quickly tried to point out: “Rosiel is…” Pausing, Lucy re-thought her statement. Wait, Rosiel was deranged. But so were they and even herself. “He was brought by this place, Alessa. It’s not his fault. I didn’t ask to be taken here either.” But she was glad to have come.
Alessa was crying. Lucy was at loss. The weeping irritated her but felt no urge to harm this one like she would do in other occasions with very different people. Therefore, she did something that she believed Nyuu would do in her place. Picking up snow with one of her vectors, she hurled it on Alessa’s face as gently as she could.
“This is called snowball fight, right?” she smirked, challengingly.

She turned back to her guardian. 'I believe a blood oath is in order,' she murmured. 'I know where your loyalty lies, but I want to be reassured.' She turned to Lucy. 'There will be quite a bit of blood,' she told the young woman.
Here are the terms: you may stay with the angel, if only to keep up appearances, Alessa began, her telekinesis working to convey her thoughts to her guardian. She did not want Lucy overhearing and reporting what was being said to Rosiel. We still need to know what the fool is up to. But you listen to me and do as I say. If he orders you to do something, do not proceed without coming first to me. I will grant you permission to follow his orders if they are harmless enough. If they interfere with the coming of our God, then I will think of a valid excuse for you. Do you understand these terms and conditions? She asked, ignoring the fact that Lucy was standing there, completely oblivious to what was going on between the two now.

She glanced at Alessa next, shrugging at the blood statement. “I told you, I don’t mind blood. I have been bathed with blood often.” The silence came next and Lucy pretended obliviousness. Obviously there was a connection, an unspoken link between those two she did not understand but it was there. That was not her business anyways.

Yes
The large white hands gripped the handle of the Great Knife once more as he prepared to finalize the blood oath.

'Proceed,' she instructed him, and she knew that his knife would kiss her in just seconds. For once, she welcomed this pain. It was going to be sweet, justified, binding. Xulchibara would be pleased.
