Log: Ongoing--Treasure Hunt Location #1

Characters; Open to participation from Angelica (prototipo), Ikuto (cat_on_strings, Doumeki (monsterepellant), and Youji (expandtozero) [and their respective treasure-hunting parties] at this time.
Summary; Here thar be treasure! Or, at least, the first stop on the treasure hunt. Show up, look for clues, hunt around, and here we go!

Upon reaching the first location and searching around a little bit, the intrepid followers of Peg-Fisted Jack’s badass pirate treasure map challenge will happen across…a chest!



And within that chest, they will find an assortment of FABULOUS TREASURE!






Also, there are clues scattered around the area--five in all, and all identical. Two are located within the chest itself, and the other three can be found with a little creative searching!

It's a lovely night for a treasure hunt, isn't it?

[Doumeki's standing outside the lighthouse, currently, with Rukia, a little chilly, but feeling accomplished.]

[Nodding at him, Rukia pursed her lips thoughtfully before stepping a bit ahead and into said lighthouse.]

I wonder what we're looking for exactly...

[follows behind her, pulling out his tablet and opening it up, using it as a pseudo-flashlight. It wasn't very strong, but it was something]

A chest, I'm guessing.

That is typical of 'treasure hunts' I gather...?

[ And she pulls out her phone, yes she has it with her ..... also not the best source of light but hey, every little bit helps...]

Is that...

[ And she goes forward towards a larger lump of a shadow on the far side of the entry room. ]

Yeah. Usually the treasure is in a chest....[his words trail off a bit as he follows her to the far side of the entry room, to see what she's spotted]

[ the first thing she does is tap the chest with the toe of her shoe, lightly...then kneel down to stare at it and then she glances back up at Doumeki]

[squats down next to her as she glances back up at him. He stares at it for a good long moment, before reaching out a hand and popping open the chest]

[ and cue staring at the treasure inside.... ]

Is that the end...or...?

I don't know. [he shifts to look inside] ...there is some treasure in here, though. But also...[he pauses as he snatches up another piece of paper in the corner of the box, pulling it out and holding his tablet up to see it better]

No...here's another clue.

[She watches him, waiting to read over his shoulder as she stands up again, while he is still kneeling, bringing her to a proper height to do so...]

So, a sort of path of clues, then.

Essentially. [he lifts the paper a little more so she an see a little better] It looks like we get some treasure for each one we get right, though.

[Nodding again, she steps back a bit, looking around, raising her phone light, however small...]

[pushes to his feet]

...I think I'd like the pocket watch. [leans down to pluck it out, cradling it and the key to wind it up in his hand, looking mildly amused.]

[ for a moment she just stares and blinks because haha it didn't even occur to her to take anything...oops...glancing back down she arches a brow and shakes her head ]

I'll just---

[ Then she pauses and kneels, fishing out one of the midnight blue jewels...then a golden colored one, and a clear one, a violet one, sky blue one, and a teal one...for different friends.]

We should probably head home.

[ agreeing, she starts out of the lighthouse, phone in hand, until she exits completely, putting it in her pocket and the jewels in her other.]

I hope you don't get sick.

[ sort of a blank stare back at him, but pointed too, the air is colder somehow. ]

[however, he's cut off by a well-timed sneeze. Well then.]

My kitchen abilities extend to tea and tea alone.

[ a pause before she tugs pointedly on his arm, releasing it after the gesture is made and starting on ahead ]
