When; The night when Feldt arrives at the apartment! 8)
Rating; PG
Characters; Feldt Grace (
sendmeback ) and Setsuna F. Seiei (
denyinurgod )
Summary; Feldt has something to tell Setsuna about what happens 4 years later
Log;
Of course, he already knew that the world at present was not the world they had been fighting for.
Still, hearing that Celestial Being had been rebuilt (who initiated it, he wondered?) to fight the A-Laws elicited conflicting emotions from him.
And as he stood outside the apartment, observing the stars on that cold, January night, he wondered: Had he really waited that long to fight again? Perhaps he had been hoping, waiting, for change (because the world needed to change, it had to). And from what he had heard from Feldt, four years after the battle at Lagrange 3 and that change never came.
Nevertheless, it was good that Celestial Being had returned to fight conflict; that meant that they were at least still aiming for a better world, and that they were still there, still alive (Tieria, Allelujah, Feldt... Who else had survived?). On the other hand, it merely confirmed that even after four years, the world's distortion was still present, that the world hadn't changed at all despite Celestial Being's efforts.
Perhaps they had been wrong, when they said they could change the world...

|D Sure thing <3!!
Oh.
He was being courteous.
Surprised, but unquestioning, Feldt took the scarf and wrapped it around her hands, nestling them in.
"Thank you." Her words came out quietly. A small shiver ran through her body, but the scarf had been helping quite a bit.
"So ..." She trailed off, wondering if she should bring up Lockon, and just how much he should and shouldn't know. When was the right time? She didn't feel she'd be a good judge of any of this.

The events that had occurred during that day, at their base on the beach shortly after Johann Trinity revealed that Setsuna had been a member of the KPSA, flashed in his mind. Lockon had calmed down and Tieria had left, and that's when he first found out about Lockon's younger twin brother.
"My younger brother is still alive. For his sake as well, I want to change the world."
He thought about it for a while. To bring Lyle along, to Celestial Being. Something like that... Could he be forgiven for doing such a thing?
And then something occurred to him, something he hadn't previously realized. "Lyle Dylandy... What is his codename?"

"Lockon Stratos." She did not have to vehemently spit out the words; after all, the man was a good man, and he was someone Lockon had cared about. Who cares if a million other things about him rubbed her the wrong way?

She stepped a bit closer again, unsure if he had any more questions.
"He's not much like ... Lockon."

Yet he was who he was, and she could either accept it or continue to pout. It wasn't something she could talk about, especially not with Setsuna.
"I guess not."

And even back then, before he came to the city and when he had been wandering around the world (unsure of whether anyone from Celestial Being was still alive, disappointed by the way the world was turning out), he had not thought that far: that Celestial Being would be reborn (although he knew that if they did, he would return immediately. After all, fighting was all he knew).
He looked away again, to the snow-covered streets before them. A few seconds passed before he finally uttered:
"We should inform Lockon Stratos."
Because he knew he couldn't keep something like that from Lockon, because he was certain that whatever his reasons were for bringing Lyle into Celestial Being, it would be what he thought was right.

"... He's going to be angry, isn't he?" It was more of a statement, since she wasn't very questioning of the fact. Setsuna was obviously ready to face any consequences, and trusted in his own judgment. She felt somewhat more confident because of that.

Whatever Lockon's reaction, he will have to face it.
"We shouldn't delay."
Because she is a gentleman :)
Feldt walked past him rather quickly, eager to get back inside. She held the door open for Setsuna, glad that the other two residing in the apartment (and Haro. Especially Haro) were fast asleep.

"I'll lock it."
A pause, and then:
"We'll tell him tomorrow."

"Yes, tomorrow." She gave a tiny yawn as she placed the scarf against his hand that was resting on the door.
"... Have a good night, then."

He gave her a nod and turned to the door, closing it shut and double-checking the locks.
He knew Feldt was right; Lockon would be mad if he knew. But there was little he could do outside telling him, and he couldn't even explain why, at least not right now. Maybe the time will come, when four years will have passed and he finally could give his reasons, but he wondered if Lockon would ever get the chance to hear it.
And deep inside, he felt a tinge of sadness when he considered the possibility that maybe Lockon never will.
