Summary; The dance is upon us and the deities have done their very best to light up the Square. Students and staff alike have been invited, date or no date. Those who aren't cursed may still come to take in the decorations, the food, the entertainment, and the merriment... or they can take pictures for blackmail when this is over.

Hunny had decided he wanted to go to the dance as well, because it sounded like a really fun time, and everyone would be in a good mood after the exams, right? Right! He and Takashi obviously showed up together, and while he waited for his taller cousin to get them some refreshments he was looking around, trying to find people he knew.

And look, there was that new 'boy' from their school! Hunny made his way over to him and pouncing happily on him let out a delighted "Ha~ru~hi!" ...even if the last part of his name sounded wrong to Hunny somehow, but he shook off the strange feeling and beamed a smile at his friend.

"Hello," she greeted and returned the 'pounce' as well as she could upon being relatively tackled. Then, kindly with hands on his shoulders to keep them a bent arm's length apart, she smiled again.

"How are you? Are you having fun?" She hoped he was and, automatically glanced around looking for the dark haired one who was always with him, cousins, as she had heard and very good friends.

"Hi!" If anything he looked even more cheerful now that Haruhi seemed pleased to see him. "I'm okay! How is Haruhi?!"

He was hopping a bit on the spot with all the excitement. "I'm having lots and lots of fun! There are so many people here!" Hunny laughed good naturedly.

At Hunny's evident joy, she couldn't help but feel happier too. Despite having to leave Cutlers soon, as it wasn't really her school anyway, she would enjoy tonight, she thought a bit determinedly. Besides, in good company, how couldn't she? Smiling just as much over at him, she laughed a little.

"That's true. I think everyone came after all," and then realizing she hadn't answered his first question, she added with a thoughtful look, "I think I'm having a much better time now. It's always good to see a friend."
