"Ballet- yes, I can see that. We had a few people come from ballet in my group and they were always very fluid, like you. So, did it ever help you sleep?" he asks, sounding curious. "Dancing always got me going, I guess. Momentum, maybe."

"It was what I did longest. I haven't danced ballet in years, though. And it did. Not immediately, but it kept me in bed at night instead of up and awake and causing trouble." Dawn doesn't mention her parents' divorce kept her just as awake as the excess of energy, but she frowns for a moment before shaking it off. "It does for me, too. But I think the theory was I would be amped up for an hour or two, then crash. It usually held true."

"I can see that," he says. "For me it was more like five hours but- there was always the eventual crash. I always slept the best those days, now that I think of it."
Right now, he feels like he could dance forever. "It's really been a long time since I did this- I thought I'd be rusty, but I'm picking it right up. It's been a few years." He'd forgotten how much he liked it.
[ooc: graah, health fail. Post will have to go up later this week, I'm heading to bed. :/ I was looking forward to it, too. But here is a tag for you, at least? :3 ]

"Well, I was also running around like a maniac the rest of the day. After lessons and then practicing for a while, even a kid with my obscene amounts of energy was ready for bed."
Dawn nods, a satisfied smile spreading across her face. "I've danced some, but I haven't done any real dancing for years. It's good to start again." The smile turns a little mischievous. "The partner doesn't hurt, either."
[ooc: I could have sworn I replied to this right after you tagged. GDI, BRAIN. Sob, late tag is late. And feel better, bb! *hugs*]

He lets that settle as they dance for a little while, and then he looks back down to Down, with a smile. "We're definitely going to have to do this again. Is there anywhere to dance in the City? I'm sure- maybe the Lux would have the right music..."

Dancing with Gabriel is easy; he leads well, and the height difference is not as difficult as it could be, thanks to a few adjustments on both their parts. "I think the Lux should work? And if not, I can poke around the Network for recommendations. I'm not about to stop dancing now that I've started again."
