The Blue Light is it's typical hole in the wall self, except for the lights and the music, which are a little brighter and a little more upbeat, and the dance floor that's been cleared in the main room. But there are plenty of tables and chairs that have been pushed against the walls for when someone wants to take a break, and the bar is always available for anyone who may want a drink.

And Blue is passing through the crowds. Even though his staff is working tonight he seems to be doing every job; serving, bartending, playing, and even dancing a little and stopping to say hi to anyone who he may know.

He just hopes that everyone has a good time.

"It's quite high, yes, and they're not easy stairs," Rosella replies. She'll leave out the part about how she'd take the stairs any day, over the three-headed dragon that once waited at the top of them for her; it's a memory she's trying to let go of again, and it'd just put a damper on the evening. "But it's rather nice, too, in its own way. You can see all of Daventry from up there."

"And really, there's no need to thank me for listening!" she continues, a little surprised, but she returns Penny's grin. It does occur to her, though, that they've been talking a while, and she doesn't want to keep Penny from the rest of the festivities. "I'm glad we finally managed to properly meet each other, without curses and things getting in the way."

"That sounds beautiful," she says in response. Daventry is probably all rolling green hills, castles, and charming hamlets (or she imagines so). A panoramic view of L.A. just wouldn't be the same.

"So am I." Penny stood. "Billy was right about everything he said about you, you know."

"It is," Rosella agrees with a fond smile, thinking of her homeland--which, conveniently, is pretty much exactly the way Penny imagines it. "It really is."

She gets to her feet as well and offers her hand for a parting shake. "It's funny, I was just about to say the same thing to you," she replies, grinning.

Penny shakes Rosella's hand warmly. "Well, thank you! I think. ...Enjoy the rest of the night, okay?"

"Oh, yes, and you do the same as well," Rosella says, and with one last smile, she makes her way back into the crowd once again.
