Log; Ongoing
When; Evening of June 29th
Rating; PG-13
Characters; Open to all!
Summary; It's a bonfire at the beach, come enjoy yourselves!
Log; Sam needed something like this, something to get his mind off of the crap he had to deal with back home and the fact that Mikaela wasn't here. Also, off of the crazy alien symbols in his head.
The wood was all stacked up and to refuel the fire that was already going (and burning green, thanks to whatever amazing stuff Anthony had put in it) and the two couches he had snagged were placed around the fire to sit on for now and to burn later. A few old logs had also been commandeered for seating and probably eventual burning. A couple of tables had been snagged also to put all the stuff for smores as well as the roasting sticks. Or the stick-thingies, if you were Tony. Paper cups and plates were also there as well. Theoretically, just about everything that was here could be burned. Doing dishes with fire was awesome.
Everything that Sam hadn't managed, Chuck had taken care of. The man definitely seemed to know how to plan a party. All that was left now was for people to start arriving.

"I'm happy when Serena's happy," she replied. "--And not when she's not. By the way, that's what it's like when you have friends." She said, her tongue all laced with acid. Then she bit it back. That was uncalled for.
She huffed, frustrated by everything, and mostly by herself. Turning back to Chuck, she tried a meek smile. "Good to see you're better."

"I wouldn't know, now, would I?" he asked, trying to make his tone pleasant, even joking. It's not like he pulled off this party, so unlike him, for a friend who just got out of the hospital. Andit's not like there are people here who choose to socialize with him... He decided to let Blair think whatever she wanted.
"I am. There's only that much bedrest they can force on me," he nodded.

"Serena's birthday is coming up," she said, because it was also easier to talk about other people. Because if they started talking about themselves, then the conversation would turn hostile, and then she would have to stomp away, and she did not want to.

"So it is..." he said, taking nother sip of his unspiked juice. "I remember she mentioned something about a party that would be invitation only. Are you throwing up a bash for her?"
