log; ongoing
When; July 25th, 9:30am
Rating; G? (unless Clow and Yuuko decide otherwise)
Characters; List; more characters to be added as requested
Summary; The long awaited second beach party takes place when everyone needed to socialize most.
Log;
She thought she was going to go crazy. After the disappearance of Lacus and Kira, and then being sent to an empty City, Uta was beside herself with worry. She sent reminders to everyone she knows that the party will be today, but she wonders if people would want to even be there after that curse.
Nevertheless, Hiiragi, Jun, and Uta went to the spot on the beach they had all agreed upon previously, bringing a basket full of sandwiches with them. Uta remembered Omi liking Kappa Maki and made some for him to thank him for cheering him up. Similarly, she made Ken some sticky buns, brought beer for Yuuko and Mokona, cake for Hunny, and coffee and cookies for Anthony. She thought it strange that she made special food for certain people, and yet could not think of one for Hiiragi, but decided at the last minute to pack a slice of strawberry shortcake for him.
Perhaps having that empty City curse was a good thing, because she wouldn't have been able to prepare this much food otherwise. And Jun seemed to want to attack the picnic basket he was carrying for her already.
With her pink, two-piece swimsuit under a sheer white tunic, she decided not to let the curse bother her anymore. Today was going to be a good day... it had to be, because everyone needed it.
[ooc: Forward-dated, as I might not be around later. Threadjack at will~ Please post on the comment title if you prefer your thread to be closed. Anything goes!]

"And I am happy that you invited me. Of course you may sit," he nodded, looking to the sea again, eyes squinting slightly at the brightness.

"How have you been, Ishiah? Have your wings healed?"
Has you heart healed?, she thought to herself.

Ishiah peered in her direction for a bit, before adding. "I'm fine."
He wondered if she'd catch the lie. Very few people had managed, so far. Maybe because, on many levels, Ishiah was even able to lie to himself about it all. He didn't need help, and he didn't need support, even if Robin had stirred up a bit of doubt in his heart over that matter.

"My friends..." she began, "or actually... they were more like my family here in the City. They left the day before yesterday."
She smiled gently, playing with the sand with her fingers. "I can't compare what I'm feeling to how you must have, because they weren't really my real family, and they're not really dead, and yet...
"I don't understand why it still hurts me so much when I think I may never see them again."
She shakes her head, trying to stir the thoughts away. "I'm sorry, I think the curse yesterday may have... uhm... messed with my thinking."
