Summary; Uta enlists Konata's help (and suddenly sparsely-populated apartment) in planning a surprise party

Unlike the get-together on Sunday, this WAS supposed to be a surprise party. Amu's three chara and Uta had done the planning, and were to lure Amu to Konata's apartment sometime in the afternoon. Konata wasn't really used to playing hostess, and twice in a week was strange for her, but at least there was plenty of space...

"Then it's not." He smiled and started walking back towards the apartment. "We should get going."

"Really? Are you sure?" Amu was excited that he agreed because she didn't expect that, but she had to double check to make sure that he wasn't just saying it or something.

Ikuto couldn't help laughing a little when he heard the excitement in her voice. "Yeah, I'm sure."

The minute he started to laugh a little, she frowned momentarily."H-hey. It's not funny-- I just had to make sure since whenever I've asked you before, you've always told me no"

"You're such a kid." Still laughing, he took her by the hand and started walking back again.

"Hey--!! What's that supposed to mean?" Amu asked slightly flustered as he just took her hand while laughing at her. She didn't make a fuss over the fact he was holding her hand at that moment though, she just followed along while she waited for him to respond.

"It means that you're a kid." He knew that wasn't the answer that she was looking for, but he didn't really feel like explaining it.

From hearing his answer she just sighed. He was always treating her again and she didn't like it one bit. "No I'm not-- I'm 13 years old now, you know"
