Summary; Always a good Samaritan, Natalia fetches Shing and brings him back to her place... for shelter!
Log; She quickly turned off her device and grabbed her coat, shoving the machine in her pocket before buttoning buttons and zipping zippers. She was rather excited, really, to have so many apartment mates living with her, now. There were surely enough rooms- they'd gotten a very large rapartment back when Peony, Tear, Luke, and Guy first appeared.

A reminiscent smile to herself before she set off, calling out to Luke that she'd be out for a moment. Building 11, thankfully, wasn't a very far walk at all- five or ten minutes, tops. And thankfully she had a good idea of what Shing looked like, thanks to the device.

It was cold outside, but nothing different from Keterburg. She marched forward with determination, passing shops, building 12, before finally making it her destination.

"Shing?"

Shing smiled, awkwardly bowing in return. While Natalia was more princess-like than most, he had to admit that she seemed really friendly and warm to him. Plus, she was really pretty, more so in person. She almost reminded him of the empress Paraiba, in a way.

"It's okay, really!" he responded. "I'm not that cold..."

Of course, leave it to him to sneeze after the fact. He sighed -- he tried so hard to hide that, too. Oh, well...

"Oh, no- what if you're catching a cold?" Worried, she quickly looked around their surroundings- perhaps there was a clothing store nearby for men. She, of course, wasn't too familiar with them, but she had to give it a try. Now that she invited Shing into her home, she felt a sisterly responsibility in making sure he was all right.

"If you don't mind, shall we purchase you a coat? I'm afraid it's been snowing like this for quite some time. You'll most likely need it."

He could probably easily fit into something of Luke's, if necessary.

Shing winced, sneezing again and sighing in defeat. He nodded towards the princess, looking around for any stores. "All right... I'm sorry, though. I guess I shouldn't have been outside this whole time, huh?"

He had to admit, though, he was kinda glad someone was fussing over him like this.

"Ah...that would be my fault. I should have insisted that you wait somewhere inside where it was warm." Taking hold of his arm, a bright smile on her face, she attempted to lead him in the direction of the nearest store, positive that they had a good selection of men's coats there.

"Now, this is my treat, Shing, until you get settled. Though," she tilted her head in thought, "if you are under the age of eighteen, you are provided everything for free."

"Yeah... I'm sorry, though. I didn't mean to make you worry so much about me." With a yelp, he can't exactly do much but get dragged off by the princess, though he does manage to catch up a little and match her pace.

"Ah...! I don't think you'd have to worry, then." Shing replied. "I'm only sixteen."

A blast of warm air soothed over her as she opened the door, now wanting to pull him inside where it was brighter, full of chattering customers and racks of clothing. "It's quite all right, Shing. And my, you're quite young- you shouldn't have any financial problems while here in the City, then."

Oh- what is that pretty black leather coat over there? Pulling.

The warm air and the lights were a welcome change to the winter atmosphere outside -- though being in a completely new place didn't stop Shing from being very curious and almost giddy about seeing everyone and everything in the store, despite still being dragged along by Natalia.

Still, there was a bit of a frown on his face. "Hey! Sixteen isn't that young..."

"You've still much growing up to do, Shing!" She took the coat from the rack and enthusiastically shoved it into his arms. Of course, she didn't often go shopping, so it was quite exciting whenever she could!

"How do you like the way this looks?"

"I guess, but--" Whatever retort Shing had planned to say was cut off as he found the leather jacket being shoved into his arms. He stared at it for a bit, frowning before trying it on.

"Hmmm... I guess it looks nice, but... where's the mirror? I could use that right about now..."

Natalia looked around accordingly, peering around racks and- ah, there it was, situated in the back, a three-fold mirror. There was even a little stool to stand on for the glamorous.

"There we are-" Despite the fact that Shing could probably very easily follow her on his own, she grabbed his arm once again in order to lead him there.

"Wah!" Shing flailed a little as he got dragged along yet again. "H-hey, I can still walk by myself, Natalia!" Despite this, he laughed a little -- he was enjoying himself a bit.

Once they got there, he stood in front of the mirror, looking at his reflection as he posed a little in front of it. "This doesn't look too bad, actually..."

"You must excuse me, Shing. I'm really rather excited for this." She peered at him and then into the mirror- at all the different angles the three mirrors created.

"You look very handsome, Shing." And it was true- he looked just as handsome as Asch did in his dark uniform.

"It's all right. I suppose that if you weren't here, I'd still be getting lost in this place." he admitted sheepishly, looking at himself again in the mirror and flushing a little.

"Thank you, Natalia..." Shing replied as he stepped awawy from the mirror. "I think I want this jacket."

"Oh, you'll learn all the kinks of this place in no time, whether you like it or not, I suppose." She clapped her hands together in excitement and leaned forward, closely inspecting him in his soon-to-be brand new jacket.

"Wonderful! Then it's settled. How very lucky."

"I guess there's really not much else for me to do other than, huh...?" Shing sighed, yelping a little in embarrassment as Natalia inspected him.

"Yeah, it is..."

"Then to the cashier, Shing!" Giggling, and having learned her lesson, hurried her way toward the cash register, already digging out a small pouch that held the brightly colored coins of the City's currency.

"Okay, okay, I'm coming!" Shing laughed, besie himself -- this was actually pretty fun, even though he was in a completely new world and had only known Natalia for a few hours.

He blinked, pausing, though. "Wait... wouldn't this be free because of the age thing?"

"Yes, but I've enough to spare to purchase you a welcome gift." It made sense to Natalia, really. Buying a gift with her own money- it was much more meaningful that way, of course.

She turned to the cashier and paid whatever price it was.

"Ah... thank you, Natalia." Shing replied, flushing a little and bowing in thanks as he wrapped the coat a little tighter around himself. It was really a nice coat -- he'd definitely be treasuring this.

As he watched Natalia pay for the coat, he looked around some more outside -- it really was a big city. Bigger than Yuriao, even. "Natalia... how big is this place? Do you know?"

She pocketed the receipt and her pouch before returning her attention to Shing- he really looked quite wonderful in that jacket! Mature, almost. "The City is quite large for, well, a city. Think of it as a small island- it only recently just became larger, too, as the oceans receded after a curse."

That had been quite the hectic curse. Warfare and bloodshed- it was all just awful. "It'll take some time to explore the entire island, too."

"A... small island?" Shing blinked, looking around the area and letting out a low whistle. "This place must be bigger than I thought... maybe we can explore a little once I'm settled in?"

He followed Natalia a little, nodding idly as another question came into his mind. "Where's your apartment, anyway? Is it close to here?"

"A very good idea, Shing! Perhaps with the other new arrivals I've invited into my home, we could all have a tour around the City. Yes, that's a very good idea indeed." She began to walk toward the exit, back into the biting cold. It was a five-minute walk to the apartment building, thankfully.

"It was only a couple of buildings over from where we were, so it isn't far in the least."

"More new arrivals?" Shing blinked in surprise, following Natalia towards the apartment building curiously. "How many people are currently living in the apartment with us right now?

"Let's see- with you, there will be seven of us, now. But worry not- there are four rooms. I'll simply move in with Luke- it shouldn't be a problem at all." She had it all figured out! Oh, she was so smart. Ah- there was building twelve. Only one more to go!

"Really...? That sounds like a lot of people in one apartment..." Shing replies, obviously very shocked as he still followed Natalia to the apartment. "Are you sure it's okay for me to stay with you? I wouldn't want to cause trouble or anything."
