Summary; The collection begins as 5 residents of the City vanish to be unwitting victims for a macabre and most deadly social event.
Log;
Staring out into the darkness of the night, Rido Kuran smiled in eager anticipation of what was to come. The City had been too quiet, and with his intended bride's recent escape from his reach, he needed to find something to assuage the frustration and inconvenience that this caused him. It'd just been good timing that he had such an occasion planned already, a dinner in recognition of his newfound friendship with the Master.
The guests had been invited, and a suitable location found in the underground that could serve well as a dinner hall of sorts. All that was left, was the entertainment...
The vampire's eyes scanned the city as he took a leisurely walk amidst it's citizens. They were all potentials as far as he could see, weak things who's only value lay in how they might be of use to the Pureblood's desires. It had always been like this, even back home. The City was only different in so far that it offered more variety, and it's people were less willing to offer themselves to him. Not that it mattered to the vampire in the slightest what they wanted. All that mattered was that he could enjoy himself for one evening, reveling in the blood and fear of his victims.
A new acquaintance by the name of Aion was likewise moving through the city, assisting in acquiring enough food for the event. The Master was too unreliable in his current ravenous state as far as helping out with this particular chore. But with Aion's help, it was unnecessary to involve him any more than he already was...
Soon they could begin the real fun. The hunt was just the start...

Victim #1: The abduction of Shin Mouri
Victim #1: The abduction of Shin Mouri
He was so preoccupied, he wasn't paying attention -- or as much attention as he should -- to the sounds around him.
Victim #1: Shin Mouri
Whistling softly under his breath, he pushed off of the wall that he'd been leaning on and followed the boy. This one would do, as long as he was unable to find safety in one of the many buildings surrounding the area. But Rido was confident that he'd be able to get him in the end.
Victim #1: Shin Mouri
He didn't realize he was being followed, at first, but it was a gradual feeling that grew on him. Nothing he could pinpoint specifically, just a feeling of wrongness. Something he han't felt in a long time. Probably just nerves, Shin, he tried to tell himself, but he hadn't survived Arago, Yagyu and Mukara by ignoring his instincts.
For the first time since the Yoroi had been destroyed, he found himself reaching into his pocket for the orb. Not that he was going to power up, of course, just for the comfort of holding it. But his fingers brushed against cloth and lint. Curling his fingers into a fist, he took a sharp left, heading toward the beach. He needed to calm down.
Victim #1: Shin Mouri
It was delicious, a part of the hunt that he always relished.
Grinning, Rido strode forward with a steady gait, his eyes now only for the boy in front of him.

Victim #2: Mercy Thompson
From the sound, he could tell she was alone. It was perfect, really... having someone fall into his clutches without any extra effort on his part.
Setting the boy's unconscious form down behind some brush, he shoved his hands into the pockets of his coat and closed the distance to greet her.
His pace he kept casual, not bothering to hide the sound of his approach. It was more fun this way, and the Pureblood couldn't help but to play with his prey just a little bit. Slowing his pace, he came to a stop by a nearby tree. And he called out to her as she came into sight.
"Well, hello there~. Pleasant night for a walk, isn't it?"
Re: Victim #2: Mercy Thompson
She nodded to the stranger. "Very nice, yes. Just glad it's the end of the day."
Victim #2: Mercy Thompson
Walking forward, he gave her a playful smile. She was pretty enough for a human, and he didn't mind letting this display openly upon his features.

So she sat at the bar, nursing her scotch and just... waiting to see what happened.

If there was anything the Master enjoyed, it was the company of a beautiful woman. Though it would be amusing to see whether he'd be able to fight off that hunger of his while staring at some delicious-looking neck taunting him as he spoke. Aion smirked to the thought as he walked through the door. A woman it is then. As soon as the thought crossed his mind, the sinner spotted a lone lady sitting by the bar, looking rather bored. He decided to observe her from a far at first, seeing if he could catch her attention but also to make sure she was appetizing enough for his new companions. Aion purposely ordered a drink not far from her and in her line of sight, flashing a confident smile towards her.

Perhaps the evening wouldn't be a waste after all.

"Good evening, miss. You seemed rather lonesome on your own here that I figured you could use some company. How is your night so far?" He took a sip of his drink.

"Good evening, young man. To think I'd find another enjoying this quiet night... alone. Must be the night." He lightly chuckled as he stood up from the seat. This one might be a little more of a hassle, he quietly thought to himself. As he made adjustments to his glasses, he quickly disappeared and reappeared along the path ahead of Justin.
"What do you think?"

Whistling, he hunched down a bit more into his coat, his hands already shoved into his pockets to keep his hands worm.

He sent an intense blood thirst towards him to see how he would react to start.
"Yo."

The sound of someone else's voice didn't make the brunette startle or even earn a second glance, merely a slow rolling up of the eyes to take in the newcomer.
"... evening."

"Impressive. The citizens of this City are truly something. Or are you a special case...?" It spoke again and flapped its wings, flying off only to land again, except now onto a man's extended arm. Aion glanced towards him as an eerie glint of his glasses enhanced his appearance.
"Hm, boy?" The sinner added to his last words with a devious grin across his lips.
