He liked Euphemia. Granted, he liked a lot of people, but she was nice, kinda weird, though. They'd currently been discussing his water, because she had never heard of something like that before, and was interested in it. Well, she said she that she wanted to see his water, and there's no time for a present like now, or something. So once she said that she wanted to see it, he stepped away, pulled his hood up, formed a portal, and walked through it.

He remembered mid-way, that people tended to react oddly when he portalled, but he never understood why, anyway. It was still pretty normal to him. Anyway, he liked showing off his water, no matter what the occasion. So he's very calm, not that his face is visible, when he steps out of the swirling purple and black mass into Euphemia's apartment, unannounced.

He nods. "Yeah, that's why I said go ahead." He is being encouraged a lot by her attitude. Back home, it hadn't exactly been frowned upon, like his constant playing of his sitar, it was pretty expected for him to train. Although he was always considered weak. But she was like, uh, like someone seeing magic for the first time. All right, he didn't exactly know so many expressions, give him a break. But this experience was making him think that he should show off a little more in the City.

She reaches out to touch it, not knowing what to expect, but looking very curious and expectant.

It feels like water, possibly unsurprisingly. But it's fashioned in such a way that it's almost like a big ball. A beach ball, really, as it's hollow on the inside, and you can even reach inside it to tell this, but if it's thrown hard against some surface, it will pop.

She picks it up, expecting it to break at any moment, but it hasn't yet. "This is amazing. Have you always been able to do this sort of thing?"

Well, not always always. Before he was a Nobody, he couldn't. Not that he could remember so well, but he knew that he couldn't do this. "Well, for about as long as I can remember, back home."

"Do you practice a lot? It looks like fun."

"Yeah, sorta. I mean, I need to keep in practice just in case. I use it to fight, even though I don't really like fighting." He'd rather just play his sitar without having to worry about not being slashed at. "And I'm no good at it, anyway, so I don't get sent to fight too much."

She looks over at him curiously. "Why did you do it if you don't like it?"

"Well I couldn't not do it. The Superior told me to. And I know that not all of them are always nice to me or agree with me, but they're the Organization." He watched his water. "Besides, if I didn't, I wouldn't be able to do this so well."

"The Organization? What sort of organization?"

"Uh, that's- my co-workers. We're called the Organization." He'd been told to clam it a few times about certain subjects, this was one of them. He was finding it sort of difficult to weave around saying what it was.

"What sort of work do you do?"

"Well," Demyx was not particularly adept at lying. And even if he was, it's not like anyone would have believed something like being simple office workers. "We get to travel around different worlds a lot, and we fight stuff."

"Like monsters?" It isn't something she'd expect someone to fight in her world, but this man controlled water and could appear out of thin air.

"Yeah! Like monsters." Monsters and the kid. "They're made out of shadows, so not just anyone can get rid of them."

"Are they dangerous?"

"Well, there are a bunch of different types. Some of them depend on the world that you're on, too. The most basic type are these little things that scratch at you, but they're pretty weak." They were also the only type that Demyx could always take down without any problems. Even the Soldiers tripped him up every once in a while.

"The world? Do you mean other planets? You have space travel?"

"Yeah, not many people can do it, though. There's Hollow Bastian, there's Twilight Town, there's the Land of the Dragons, there's Port Royal, there's Pride Lands-" He could go on for a while. Please stop him.

"So many places! Does the land of dragons really have dragons?"

"Well, Xigbar says it does. When I went, I didn't see any, though. And he could've been lying to me."

"That's too bad. I saw a dragon once at the zoo here. It was amazing!"

"Although, it's not like I was there for that long anyway, so- Oh, yeah? I think I've been to the zoo here once. Not much of it, though. Uh, how big was it?"

"It's massive I think. Once I was inside it felt like it just went on forever."

"Huh. I should go again. They probably have a lot of cool water animals or something." He also vaguely wondered if Heartless would count. Although they weren't really animals.
