[Euphie arrives at the fountain where they agreed to meet. She's sitting on the edge lightly running her fingers over the surface of the water, creating little ripples.]

It really is. [Looks around, admiring the waves and the soft sand.]

[She smiles at Syaoran and then gets a mischievous look in her eye as she holds his hand tighter and pulls him with her as she starts running toward the sand.]

[He let himself get dragged, surprised for a brief moment but smiling all the same. She looks like she's having fun, and isn't that the purpose of dates? Then, he must be doing a good job, at least.]

[She giggles and kicks off her shoes as they go, so when she gets to the water she doesn't need to stop.]

[He took off his shoes too, enjoying the feel of the water against his bare feet. But then, he remembered something.] Euphemia-san, won't your clothes get wet?

Yes. [Right now the hem of the skirt was still just above the water's surface.] Won't yours?

Well, yes, but... [He looks out to the sea.] I might swim later, after all. I'm curious what's it like down there.

I think it would be fun to play a little now. [Splashes]

Ah! [Gets mildly wet but still with a smile on his face.] Are you sure you wouldn't mind getting soaked?

[She lets his hand go to pull her skirt up higher.] That wouldn't be so bad.

If you're certain. [And then lightly splashes water at her, clearly playing along.]

[She giggles and splashes back a little.] Syaoran~

[He chuckles a bit too, splashing more water.] Euphemia-san!

[She swirls around in the water and then, surprise!, more splashing!]

H-Hey! [He yelped as he dodged more of that splashing. By now, his top is completely wet and also half of his pants.]

Should I stop? [She giggles more. Also, have you ever heard of a wet t-shirt contest, Syaoran?]

Ah, if you're having fun, please don't. I'm fine. [Nope, he hasn't heard of that. The kid's a derp.]

[If he had he might have noticed some similarities between those and what's happening with them now.] I'm having lots of fun.

[He splashes some more water at her.] Then, by all means, do continue.

[Splashes!] I will!

[He chuckles as he gets completely soaked, still trying to cover himself with his hands in a feeble attempt.] Didn't you say you wanted to build something on the sand?

Yes! We should do that too. [Giggles] We're going to be a mess. [She starts trudging back to shore in her very heavy, wet clothing. Her shirt is clinging to every curve.]

[He notices this and couldn't help but blush. He averts his gaze, though, and tries to concentrate on what they're about to do.] Well, if you're having fun, it shouldn't matter.

[He gives her one lopsided smile.] I look like a mess too, in any case.
