Log; Ongoing
When; Evening, Sept. 9th
Rating; PG-13 for language, subject to change
Characters; Tayuya {
violentflutist}, Kabuto {
snake_servant}, and Greed {
so_very_greedy}
Summary; After taking some jabs at Kabuto's sex life during her dinner with him and Shizune earlier in the week, Kabuto decides to put Tayuya in an awkward situation in return.
Log;
Tayuya slammed the door to her room, running her hands through her hair in a vain attempt to calm the red tresses down. She was led to the kitchen by the smells of dinner cooking, admitting despite herself that it did smell damn good, as usual with Kabuto's cooking. She had abandoned her usual uniform for another outfit she'd picked up in her quest for femininity, despite her feeling that she'd never hear the end of it from Kabuto. But this was him trying to get back at her anyway, and she'd be damned if she'd let him get to her.
She didn't know how he'd gotten Orochimaru and Kimimaro out of the apartment, but she didn't want to know what he'd told them. She'd probably already be in trouble enough for breaking that chair when she'd gotten home on Wednesday anyway.

He examined his work. Candles, delicate looking and painstakingly prepared dishes (that he had the feeling wouldn't get the appreciation they deserved), and an “excited” Tayuya. This would be amusing.

"Going to a lot of effort there, huh, Kabuto?" She asked, her voice dripping with disdain. She made a face, looking over all the pretty looking food. That definitly wouldn't be pretty long.

"Yo, Tayuya! You in there?"
no subject
"Come on in, everything is ready for your dinner. I hope you two enjoy yourselves." As he let Greed in, he left the apartment, and with a final wave, let the two to each other's company.
no subject
"Hi, Greed." She gave a small wave that came with a sigh.
no subject
"What's wrong, babe? You look a bit down."

Tayuya looked at the flowers. Those were for her?
"For me?"
She asked, as if that wasn't apparant and obvious. She had never been given flowers before, let alone fancy ones like this.
no subject
"A young woman's life should be filled with flowers and passion."
He inhaled deeply, drawing in the fragrance of the food. Oooh, his favorite!
no subject
"Well, I don't know about my life being filled with those, but I'll take them." She noticed his scenting of the food.
"Yeah, we have food."
no subject
no subject
"You doubted?" She asked with a smirk.

He sniffed the air again, and looked at the set-up of the room.
"So, what's for dinner? Kabuto a good cook."

"Look, T. Ya' don't have anything to worry about. I'm not gonna' hurt you."
He completed the turn and spoke.
"Closed position means what it says, two people "close" together. Most waltzes consist of a great deal of slow, close dancing. It's supposed to be rather relaxing. Is there somethin' I can do to relax you more?"
no subject
She stil didn't relax, she didn't know how, for one, and she was rather uncomfortable. Really, really, uncomfortable.
"And... unless you have a suggestion, no, I can't think of anything." She turned with his movements, continuing this 'swaying'.
no subject
"Let's sit at the table again. Too far, too soon, I guess. We'll try the dancing thing some other time."
He turned off the radio and pulled the chair out for her.
no subject
"... dancing is..." She fumbled for a word. "... intimate."
no subject
He realized that he really knew very little about Tayuya's past, despite all the times they've talked. Life must be hard, to produce warriors.
no subject
She almost laughed at a thought. "I think most people from my world have those fucking problems."
She tried to relax, crossing her legs and leaning back a bit.

"Well, I'm sure you can imagine the sort of issues that arise from taking some damn kids and teaching the to be emotionless killers and all that shit." She gestured with her chopsticks in between bites of food. "That happens all the time, in the ninja villages anyway. Though some of us don't turn out as emotionless as they want." She smirked. "But you get a lot of those types. 'I'm an emotionless killer with no feelings and if I have them I bottle them inside me till they rot.'"
no subject
He dipped some ginger in soy sauce and continued.
"What about the villages, do you guys just fight to fight? What's the point of the warfare? It's hard for an outside guy like me to understand."
no subject
"Well, standing, mostly. The villages compete to be the best. Konoha is considered the best right now, those fuckers. But the other villages make money of doing missions, you get it? If Konoha has the better rep they get more mission requests, and more money, and more people. See, the only way to compete is to bring them down so you're more reputable." She took a second to crunch down on a tempura chicken piece.
"Some of the village leaders are just bastards, though." She nodded. "Like, say... the Cloud Village. Their Raikage is just a bitter old man, so he just does it cause he can, I suppose." She thought about it some more.
"It's like any war, really. In the end, it's all about power. You have to sacrifice for it."
no subject
He put away 12 teriyaki skewers in one bite, the placed the pikes aside.
"You guys are pretty strong, why not just takeover the people who give you missions? In the space of a night, you could just take out the leaders."
no subject
"Konoha actually gives their genin missions like babysitting old codgers. And shit like that." She smirked.
"Sound doesn't take commisions, usually." She mentioned. That piece of information didn't seem too important, she couldn't get in trouble for it.
"And, Orochimaru's goal, is just that." She nodded. "Win it all."
