[Open] BEACH PARTY

When; Saturday June 4, all day
Rating; Probably not to high?
Characters; EVERYONE--THAT MEANS YOU
Summary; Euphie and Guy plan a beach party. Everyone is asked to attend.

It was the first uncursed Saturday, and has promised Guy and Euphemia were setting up the party at the beach. They had refreshments set up and a few games prepared for the attendees. It promised to be a beautiful day for playing in the water or lounging on the sand. And the evening was sure to make a great time for relaxing and listening to music.


OOC:

Open log for everyone. YES EVERYONE. Euphie and Guy meant it when they invited everybody. Threadjack, plot, play, have fun. The possibilities are endless!

If you want some drama in the water, Guy and Katara are playing lifeguard. If you want some dancing, volleyball, silly swimsuit shenanigans, GO FORTH. the sky is the limit. Romantic sunset walks or ridiculous shounen power-surfing competitions, it's all encouraged!

"I think it's best to focus on their returns rather than their departures. Even if that can be hard to do." It always shakes her when someone close leaves. It's hard to feel grounded here sometimes knowing that without any warning those closest to her might suddenly not be there anymore. It is harder to deal with than the curses in her opinion. Still, ever the host, she wears a smile, albeit a soft one given the topic.

"I'm afraid I don't think I knew a Jack though."

"Jack Harkness. Another him was here when I arrived. He and my friend from home were lovers. So, in a way... well, it's like having a connection to home with him here." She smiled a little ruefully.

Mercy nodded. "He's a nice guy and he just sort of... accepted that I'd known another him."

"I was greeted on my arrival by someone who knew me from a previous stay I can't remember. Although I guess I don't think of her as another me. Just that I forgot. You don't think he's really the same person?"

Mercy shrugged. "I don't know. If he is, he sure doesn't remember anyone from here, including someone I know he loved very much."

She nods slowly. "It's difficult no matter how you think of it. Having someone you care deeply about not recognize you..."

She trails off before making an apologetic sort of sounds and then smiling softly at the other woman.

"But this is a time for celebrating what we do have."
