Summary; Euphie and Guy plan a beach party. Everyone is asked to attend.

It was the first uncursed Saturday, and has promised Guy and Euphemia were setting up the party at the beach. They had refreshments set up and a few games prepared for the attendees. It promised to be a beautiful day for playing in the water or lounging on the sand. And the evening was sure to make a great time for relaxing and listening to music.


OOC:

Open log for everyone. YES EVERYONE. Euphie and Guy meant it when they invited everybody. Threadjack, plot, play, have fun. The possibilities are endless!

If you want some drama in the water, Guy and Katara are playing lifeguard. If you want some dancing, volleyball, silly swimsuit shenanigans, GO FORTH. the sky is the limit. Romantic sunset walks or ridiculous shounen power-surfing competitions, it's all encouraged!

Well, I'm not that hungry? But, I'd like to try some of the sandwiches they have. [Katara blushes too, more because of embarrassment. She's really not one to let people get things for her.]

[ And Tyr is used to being waited on... ] I'll get some for you, then. Is there any type you'd really like? [ He puts a hand to his knee to start pushing off. ]

I'd personally like to try something new, so I wouldn't mind any type. [When she sees he's about to go, she stops him for a while.] Oh, and Tyr-

[She leans in to give him a short kiss.] Thank you.

[ He wasn't expecting that, surprisingly. He laughs somewhat nervously, his face flushing some all anew. He leans over to kiss her forehead. ]

It's no problem... I'm happy to.

[ Oh right, he was going to get her a sandwich... ]

[She smiles at both the forehead kiss and how flushed his face seems to be.]

Alright. You better be quick.

[And she'll wait while she looks out to the sea.]

[ He grins, making himself look even more boyish with that blush. ]

Sure thing.

[ And he hurries off the beach for her, though he won't run all the way there. Just enough to hopefully get a laugh at out her. ]

[Just seeing that boyish face makes her blush and giggle. Why does he have to look so handsome? And before she turns to the water again, she giggles some more as she watches his retreating form. He always seems to cheer her up.]

[ Which is just what he wants. He comes back some fifteen minutes later with a pair of sandwiches wrapped in white paper along with a couple bottles of water. ]

[Once she hears his voice, she turns to him with a wide smile.] Welcome back. [She then pats the space beside her for him to sit down.]

[ He doesn't hesitate to plop down into the sand beside her. He hands her her sandwich along with a water bottle. ]

Thanks. Sorry to keep you waiting.

[She receives the water bottle and the sandwich with a warm 'thank you', watching him sit down beside her.]

No, it's alright. You must have taken your time picking the best sandwich.

I tried, anyway... I got the same one, so we can both see how it is.

[ And beneath the paper wrapping is a pair of fresh sandwiches on wheat grain bread. There's lettuce, tomatoes, provolone cheese, salami, and ham. ]

That's good. How about we bite it at the same time? [The sandwich looks so delicious, but Katara knows it'll taste even more delectable if they eat them together.]

[ He laughs. She always has the cutest suggestions. ] Okay, let's do it at the count of three.

[ Almost as cute. ] Three.

[ And he takes a bite, smiling at her and feeling like the biggest kid. ]

[She likes the feeling of almost being like a kid again. Fate made her grow up way too fast. Biting on her sandwich, she smiles at him as she chews, all the words suppressed by the sandwich in her mouth evident in her smile.]

[ He hoped it would taste good! He's enjoying it, too, smiling and happily eating away. ]

[It does! She swallows her first bite after a good amount of chewing.] These are really good! You picked the best sandwiches.

I wasn't about to let you down. [ He sets his sandwich back on his lap, in the paper. ]

You never do. [She sets her sandwich down, too, after another bite. Her free hand reaches to grasp his own and gives it a soft squeeze.]

[ He wants to take off his gloves, but it'd be weird to now. He returns the squeeze and looks out at the water. ] It's a nice day, huh...

It is. I mean... I always believe the City frequently has nice days. [It's her optimism talking, really. She's silent for a while as she watches the water before she turns to him.] It's nice. It's very nice.

[ He's glad it's back; he missed it. He turns back to her, smiling. ] It does... It still surprises me, though. The past few weeks have been... [ what's the word... ] not as nice.

Yeah... not as nice.. [She repeats for the lack of better word. She's quiet for a moment again as her stare drops to their linked hands.] But, you know, after some time... those weeks have given me strength. Thinking about people important to me propels me to move forward.
