Summary; Euphie and Guy plan a beach party. Everyone is asked to attend.

It was the first uncursed Saturday, and has promised Guy and Euphemia were setting up the party at the beach. They had refreshments set up and a few games prepared for the attendees. It promised to be a beautiful day for playing in the water or lounging on the sand. And the evening was sure to make a great time for relaxing and listening to music.

Open log for everyone. YES EVERYONE. Euphie and Guy meant it when they invited everybody. Threadjack, plot, play, have fun. The possibilities are endless!

If you want some drama in the water, Guy and Katara are playing lifeguard. If you want some dancing, volleyball, silly swimsuit shenanigans, GO FORTH. the sky is the limit. Romantic sunset walks or ridiculous shounen power-surfing competitions, it's all encouraged!

[She grips his hand back--out of reflex. She's getting so used to that.] Hey, my swimming isn't that bad!

[ That just makes Tyr think she's really scared! He holds her hand securely as they go further in. ] I'm offering just in case.

Well, I won't need to! [Not that she...lets go, either.]

Good. [ Aww, Rita. He won't let go. ] Then we should have fun.

[Aw, Tyr~ Rita is unsure how swimming is fun, really, so she nods a little skeptically.] Uh...right. What exactly do you plan on doing out there?

[ He doesn't get that she doesn't think swimming is fun. ] I was just going to swim with you... It might be hard if we keep holding hands, though.

Oh--yeah. [A little reluctantly, she takes that as a cue to let go.] So is that all?

[ He's worried about her, though. He wraps an arm around her, beneath her arms. ]

Yeah, it's just swimming. It's just fun like this.

[She'd question that, but she's too busy shooting him a perplexed look over his actions--though she doesn't move away, either.]

Hey, didn't you just say it'd be difficult if we were holding hands? What's this?

It's easier with my arm around you; I won't try to swim with it. [ As for why he needs to hold onto her into the first place...She doesn't need to know. ]

If you say so...But is there a reason you need to hold onto me in the first place? [It doesn't stop her from asking, though.]

[ ...Well. It wouldn't be a complete lie to say: ] I don't want us to drift apart...

[...She's a little skeptic, but she'll go with it. For now.] I don't think the currents are that strong... [They're getting a lot further in now; it won't be much longer before her feet don't reach.]

...They might suddenly turn... [ It's already far enough to almost need to use his arms to stay afloat. His hand holds onto her more tightly. ]

...Sounds more dangerous than fun, if you ask me. [It's a little weird swimming like this, but she's not ready to stop yet.]

It's not that likely to happen. And I won't let you drown anyway. [ Such clingy friends... ]

It's not like I'd drown that easily, anyway! [Yes...Tyr's making her get used to it.]

I didn't say you would... You probably won't even come close at this depth. [ And now I remember when he held her hand the first time... ]

You sure you weren't suggesting it? [Aww, yes. And all the adorable times since!]

Why would I suggest you'd drown? [ Totally not avoiding the question. And there have been lots and lots-! ]

Like I'd know why! [Really. So many-!]

Then stop worrying about it. [ Really really. Tyr is going to try to go further out~ And there'll be more!? ]

I--I wasn't worried! [Reeaaaallly. Rita doesn't even have to kick until Tyr can't touch anymore, so she just drifts along with him~ And yes! Definitely!]

So how well can you swim? [ Tyr will be getting to that point soon, though. He doesn't want to just stand in the water! Even if it's cute that she's just...sorta using him as a buoy. ]

Well enough. I'm not going to drown or anything if I have to swim. [Enough that she can tread water for a few minutes, but she's not that great. And Tyr will be a buoy until he starts actually swimming!]
