Summary; Vriska and Terezi have been walking on passive aggressive eggshells ever since they got back in the City. It's time to vent a little frustration.
Log; [Vriska's still loitering outside of her apartment, leaning against her door and going over the night again in her head. She actually looks extremely content and pleased with everything, and less smug and bitchy like she usually does.

Finally she turns to open her door, before someone catches her eye down the hallway. She pauses, to see who it is.]

[Ugh, she can't get away, so she lands reluctantly. And then she throws herself at Terezi since she's in close proximity. Aiming punches again.]

[And one of those punches connects, making Terezi's head snap to the side. The pain in that blossoms in her cheek is sharp and radiating, and she has to take a step back. She tastes bright, sharp blue raspberry in her mouth and spits, splattering teal on the floor. Stupid Vriska. This time when she swings with her cane, she puts all of her strength into it.]

[Vriska goes to block the cane, but isn't anticipating the force behind it. There's a cracking noise and she recoils, wincing and hissing at the pain. She throws her weight at Terezi, nails outstretched to try to scratch down the other's face.]

[Terezi grins in triumph just as Vriska tries to rake her nails down her face. She bats the girl's hands away for the most part, but still gets a few scratches for her trouble. Terezi tries to grab Vriska's cowl and slam her against the wall.]

You are such a freak!

Like you aren't!

[Her boots don't have much grip, so she hits the wall, grimacing a little. But it's nothing, she won't let it deter her from fighting back. She slams her head forward to try to headbutt her as her hands grab out for Terezi's shoulders and neck to dig in.

She won't be bested by her.]

[That headbutt isn't nothing. Terezi blinks for a second, stunned as the blow sends a sharp spike of pain through her skull.]

[Vriska's stunned for second too, because it hurt her too. She's going to have a splitting headache later. But once she recovers, she's moving to try to get the upper hand, shoving Terezi away from her and going for her cane with intent to take the weapon.]

[Terezi stumbles backwards, losing her grip on the cane as Vriska yanks it away from her. SO STUPID. She reaches out to try to twist her hand in Vriska's hair.]

[There's a yelp at the hair yanking, but she swings the cane out to try to hit Terezi's legs. Either to injure her or trip her or both. At this point she doesn't care. She just wants to see the other troll hurt.]

[And Terezi is too distracted and too close to move so down she goes! But she is going to try to bring Vriska down with her.]

[It's hard not to go down when Terezi has a grip on her hair. She lands on her, and takes the advantage of being on top to try to punch her again.]

[And she takes the full force of that punch in her face. Blood floods her mouth again, and she realizes she's cut the inside of her cheek on her own teeth. Everything is blurred teal now, and for a moment, she's afraid she won't be able to smell enough to see. But Vriska being so close is certainly an advantage, so Terezi aims her own fist at her.]

[The blow connects solidly with Vriska's face, and she spits out a mouthful of blue blood. She uses the cane she took from Terezi to try pressing it up against her throat. And her free hand it grabbing for her hair to pull her head up and slam it back into the ground.

There's something decidedly crazed in her eyes. The same look she'd gotten when she faced Tavros. She's not thinking straight.]

[he hadn't known what to expect when checking out what was going on, but it wasn't really this. there was teal and blue blood, and vriska was —

[ and Karkat is just there, Sollux in tow. flabbergasted at the sight before him. okay, he knew that there is a lot of hate here going on, but this is a little much, isn't? ]

[Sollux clings to Karkat's shoulder, his fingers curled in his shirt. He's a little disoriented, though he wanted to come out into the hall as much as Karkat did once they heard all the ruckus.

He can smell blood. And he can almost...almost smell what colour it is. He leans forward, inhaling.]

TZ? What the fuck is going on out here?

[Yes, everyone, your shock is dually noted, but helping might be good, because Vriska is sort of slamming Terezi's head into the ground. As the back of her skull connects with the floor, spots of light flash across her usually dead field of vision, and she gasps in pain.]

[Vriska barely hears the voices that have gathered. And frankly, she doesn't care. She's focused on Terezi, and getting all of her frustration out through violence. And the way Terezi's head cracks against the floor fills her with a sick sense of satisfaction.

She repeats the action, grinning.]

You aren't so tough, are you, Pyrope?

Vriska! [and his voice actually rises there, but before she can react he raises a hand and summons some air to throw her off of terezi]

[ which means it's okay for Karkat to pry Sollux off of himself and scurry over Terezi. ]

[And Sollux is left by the door to their hive, listening with all of his might. He has managed to put a few of the pieces together, and he knows who all is there, but that's about it. He wants to go to Terezi, too, but he's not sure where Vriska is, or what's happening exactly.]

[All of this happens so fast - Vriska being knocked away and Karkat moving to her side - that Terezi almost shoves her matesprit away instinctively. All she can smell is teal and blue, and as she jack knifes up she clutches at Karkat's arm for stability. Her head is pounding and everything hurts.]

[Vriska slides across the floor, dazed and confused about the interruption. She glares around, to find the culprit, and sobers a little when she sees John and the others.

But she's still angry and annoyed. Gripping Terezi's cane tightly before tossing it across the floor to her.]

You were going to kill her! And that is kind of the last thing you should be doing right now. [honestly, seeing her like that was a little scary...he keeps the pressure of the air to keep her down, or at least slow her movements in case she lunges at terezi again]
