Summary; Vriska and Terezi have been walking on passive aggressive eggshells ever since they got back in the City. It's time to vent a little frustration.
Log; [Vriska's still loitering outside of her apartment, leaning against her door and going over the night again in her head. She actually looks extremely content and pleased with everything, and less smug and bitchy like she usually does.

Finally she turns to open her door, before someone catches her eye down the hallway. She pauses, to see who it is.]

[Terezi has every intention of ignoring Vriska as she taps her way down the hallway. An unfortunate side effect of living next to the person you hate is seeing them all the time. She does shoot her a glance, though.]

[Any ounce of sincere happiness drains from her face, and she grins back at her smugly. She's feeling pretty good about herself right now, so she's in the mood to piss Terezi off a little more.

[That gets Terezi to stop, her eyes narrowing. She feels a sudden surge of anger. She is sick of Vriska thinking that something gives her the right to toy with people, to hurt them, and as she responds her lips curl back from her shark-like teeth slightly.]

[She's not backing down. She's tired of this tense dance they've been doing. She's so pissed off at Terezi she wants nothing more than to punch her in the face.

But she's trying to behave like John told her. So she won't throw the first punch, but it's different if Terezi starts it. Right? Right.]

[All Terezi can think of when she looks at Vriska is Tavros' body lying broken and covered in chocolately blood, of Sollux being forced to kill Aradia, of the absolute arrogance it takes to try to kill an unkillable adversary and get the people you'd once called friends killed.

Disgust and hate and worry coil in her gut and she steps forward, shoving Vriska backwards.]

[Terezi stumbles back a step, her eyes narrowing. This is fucking stupid. She just wants to hit Vriska so badly, to make her feel just an ounce of the pain she's inflicted on everyone else. So she pulls back her fist and aims a punch at Vriska's stupid smug face.]

[Vriska doesn't completely avoid the punch, but it's fine. Her own fist is swinging towards Terezi's gut. Honestly? The pain feels great to her. It's so much better than the frustration she's been feeling.]

[Terezi isn't a psychopath, so getting hit in the stomach doesn't feel all that great. Her fist connecting with Vriska, however, does. The punch knocks the wind out of her, but her anger is enough to allow her to push through it, hefting her cane and swinging it at the side of Vriska's head.]

[She slams the door shut behind them. She'll clean the mess up in the hall later when she's less worked up about everything. Maybe.

Stalking towards the kitchen to spit out another mouthful of blue blood - she must have cut her mouth when she was punched.]

[turns her head a bit to clean a small cut] I know killing and stuff is kind of normal for you guys, but...it's a little scary. If you had killed her I am pretty sure things would've gotten way worse! With everyone in the city.

[Sollux holds the door open until Karkat and Terezi have passed him, then closes it and turns the deadbolt. Not that it would really make much of a difference, but it just makes him feel a little better.]

Head injury, definitely. Terezi, you are not allowed to fucking fall asleep on me. Sollux. If you can, then fumble your way over and try to get the sink running with warm water.
