Summary; Vriska and Terezi have been walking on passive aggressive eggshells ever since they got back in the City. It's time to vent a little frustration.
Log; [Vriska's still loitering outside of her apartment, leaning against her door and going over the night again in her head. She actually looks extremely content and pleased with everything, and less smug and bitchy like she usually does.

Finally she turns to open her door, before someone catches her eye down the hallway. She pauses, to see who it is.]

[ and it makes him feel a little better too. off to the human bathroom he goes, tentatively sitting Terezi down. ]

Bad enough that we're going to have to clean the fucking carpet.

[ he's grimacing all the while. Karkat really, really doesn't need to see this teal everywhere. ]

Head injury, definitely. Terezi, you are not allowed to fucking fall asleep on me. Sollux. If you can, then fumble your way over and try to get the sink running with warm water.

[She sighs as Karkat sits her down. All of this babying is kind of embarrassing her.]

[Jegus, she lost so badly.]

I'm on it, kk. [He's been following them and he feels his way into the bathroom, finding the sink and turning on the hot water tap almost to full blast to get it warming.]

[ blushing because he's only going to take care of cuts and the like. ]

[She sighs, leaning forward to rest her forehead against Karkat's shoulder. This is so stupid.]

[Sollux takes a washcloth and wets it, wringing it out. Then he feels his way over and drops to one knee next to Karkat, holding out the cloth]

What happened, tz? Why'd it start?

[ which he takes as well as getting out his first aid kit from his modus. then he gets to work cleaning cuts and the like that he sees. ]

[She pulls away as Karkat sets to work, inhaling sharply at the sting of the antiseptic.]

I was passing her in the hall, and she threatened Dave.

That stupid bitch. [He says this with a bit of relish] What the fuck?

What the fuck have I been saying about her this entire time?

[ because he has. repeatedly. ]

[Terezi rubs her face, letting out a sigh. Her head is pounding so badly.]

I'm sorry.

What are you apologizing for? Protecting your moirail? [He gropes around and finds her knee and squeezes it]

[ some worry might be leaking through. ]

[Terezi takes Sollux's hand and squeezes tight.]

I wasn't thinking. I shouldn't have let her get to me.

[Okay, Karkat has a point, but Sollux squeezes Terezi's hand]

Well, that's true. Even if you'd killed her, it probably wouldn't have been just.

And who knows what the City rules on that shit would be...

[ almost done here, but he's still all huffy huffy. ]

[She bites her lip.]

[With his other hand, he reaches out to rub Karkat's back a little] You staying with us, kk?

[ yes, he is staying with them here. sort of. this is one huge flashback for him and not one that he particularly likes. his matesprit is over here bleeding ( well not so much now, but still ) and there's another fucking troll that got too fucking carried away. ]

[Ugh, fine. Sollux drops his hand and gets up, grabbing another cloth and wetting it in the sink]

[ a shrug from a Karkat. now that he wasn't like suffocating under all these FEELINGS ]

[Sorry, Karkat, but Terezi is not done with FEELINGS. She loops her arms around him and rests her head on his shoulder.]

She might not be completely serious now, but if he antagonizes her, she will be.

[He comes back slowly and sits next to her, sniffing for signs of more blood and feeling with his fingers for any other cuts]

So either we do kill her, or we ask ck to pretty please not antagonize a troll, which is pretty much like asking the moons not to rise. [He holds up a hand] I'm not saying we need to kill vk. I don't want to do that. I just don't think we can give her another fucking free pass to do whatever shit she wants to do, and we all tiptoe around her like Tavros, scared to she'll go shithive maggots if we look at her wrong.

[ he's blushing furiously, finally just giving in and holding her. Captor's presence be damned. he can't exactly see this shit anyway. ]

Strider not pissing off a troll is like John actually finding the globes to fucking hate someone. It's not happening. But we can't let her keep doing shit like this, either.
